Why Thanksgiving for Europe?

From 29th Aug to 27th Sept 2025, we prayed and fasted over Europe’s crises: government instability, economic hardship, war in Ukraine, secularism, family breakdown, and church decline. Yet God has preserved Europe and shown signs of hope.

Areas to Thank God for (with news references):

• France: Peaceful transition to a new PM despite govt collapse (CNN, RT).

• Germany: Services sector bounced back, defying recession (WSJ).

• UK: Inflation continues, but collapse avoided; Trump’s London visit renewed US–UK ties (Al Jazeera).

• NATO/Poland: Article 4 invoked without escalating to war (RT).

• Romania: Russian drones entered territory, but no escalation (RT).

• EU Unity: Poll shows record 74% support for EU membership (Reuters).
