*Family Altar Proclamation Over Our Children*
In the name of Jesus Christ, we lift our children before the throne of grace.
Father, we thank You that our children are a heritage from You and a reward from Your hand. They do not belong to the world, but to You. We dedicate them afresh to Your purpose and Your glory.
We decree and declare that our children are delivered from the snares of peer pressure, wrong associations, and ungodly friends. They shall not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of mockers. Instead, their delight shall be in the law of the Lord.
We proclaim that our sons and daughters are taught of the Lord, and great shall be their peace. They will not follow the noise of the media or the deception of this age. Their ears shall hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, and they will follow Him alone.
We declare that our children are clothed with honor and humility. They shall obey and respect their parents in the Lord. The spirit of rebellion is broken; the spirit of obedience is restored.
We proclaim that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. By the blood of Jesus, every evil influence, hidden trap, or assignment of darkness is canceled. They are preserved in body, soul, and spirit.
We decree that our children shall not be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. They are seekers of His presence, worshippers in spirit and in truth, hungry for His Word, and filled with His Spirit.
We proclaim that wisdom, knowledge, and understanding rest upon them. Like Daniel, they will excel in wisdom above their peers, and like Esther, they will be bold to take a stand for God in their generation.
We decree that they are fruitful trees planted by rivers of living water. They shall prosper in their studies, careers, and callings, bearing good fruit in season and out of season.
We declare that our children are lights to this world and cities set on a hill that cannot be hidden. They will not conform to this world but will be transformed by the renewing of their minds to lead, influence, and impact nations for Christ.
Finally, we proclaim with joy that our children will walk in truth all their days. They shall live holy, fruitful, and purposeful lives, bringing joy to the Kingdom of God and to us as parents.
We seal these proclamations with the blood of Jesus, declaring that it is so, and it shall not be reversed.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Shalom
