Bitter Root Judgement and Expectancy and How they Influence Relationship

Bitter Root Judgement and Expectancy and How they Influence Relationship – Elijah House through our roots, we draw either life or death. A root is a way of drinking from God, others, ourselves, and life. Just as we learn accents in speech, roots are practiced, hidden, and automatic, and are usually developed at an early age. If we have good roots, we drink nourishment from God and others. If we have bitter roots, we drink poison from our own bitterness. In this lesson, learn what bitter root judgments are, how we reap from them, and how to get free from them!

This is from the ministry of John and Paula Sandford.

Bitter Root Judgement and Expectancy and How they Influence Relationship

14 Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.

15 Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God’s grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it—

16 That no one may become guilty of sexual vice, or become a profane (godless and sacrilegious) person as Esau did, who sold his own birthright for a single meal.

31 Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind).

Shalom!
