Continuation of our title today on getting answers to the why me questions:
Do you have why me questions? Like, why is it that I always make the wrong moves when it comes to finding a life partner? Why is it that all females in our family lineage are not married? Why is it that all male children in our family lineage die at age 40 or 50 through tragic circumstances?
Why is it that I can’t get the promotion in my work place despite having all the requisite reviews, credentials and recommendations by my superiors? Why is that I can’t seem to get pregnant and looking back, I see that my sisters and female close relations are experiencing the same thing? Why is it that… ???…the list goes on and on ….NO BLINKING!!!
You are not alone! So many are plagued with same or similar questions and some have found answers to the why questions and others haven’t.
Those who have found the answers are those who decided to face the Goliaths confronting their lives…
We read from prophet Hosea in
Hosea 4:6
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
Following that scripture, we also read from king Solomon in
Proverbs 29:18
King James Version
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
We can draw from above that a lack of knowledge of the law and also it’s application does lead to destruction. Also, a lack of vision leads to destruction as well. If we read Solomons verse, he ended that verse 18 with…he who keeps the law, happy is he.
Both scriptures have one thing in common..the law …
If we want to decide the why question, we will need to find answers to the following questions: Was a law broken? where was the law broken? If the law was broken, who broke it? Why? Can we find answers to those so that we can make amends?
Why is the law the core focus here? What does the law entail?
The core of the core of the law of God is summarized in Luke 10:27 – as loving God and loving others as ourselves..(paraphrased)
To confront the Giants that are triggering the why question, we need to enquire from the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth to discover the root cause triggering the why question. The Holy Spirit can give us the mind of God concerning the matter that are as precise and tailor made to us as can be.
Let’s read about the function of the Holy Spirit amidst other functions in creation as the power house of God or the doing arm of God in our realm.
John 16:12-14

12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.
13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
The bible will give you compass, landmarks, and coordinates that can point you to the answers to the why questions that you have, precise for you and the bible will give you scriptures that you can use to call forth the divine counsel concerning your life.
The bible will not tell you the details.. the details is in the realms of the Holy Spirit if you are willing to dig into Him to show you and He will show you if you are hungry enough to continue searching.. , knocking and cracking the door open.
The Holy Spirit provides answers to the why me questions in ways we can’t get it from any other sources..
Once we elicit the intervention of the Holy SPIRIT in our matter, the battle to confront the Giants or Goliath in our lives becomes easy ..
