‘It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.’”
The Message (MSG)
He said, “There is Scripture that says,
My house will be called a house of prayer.
You have turned it into a hangout for thieves.”
Isaiah 56:7

“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
The Message (MSG)
“I’ll bring them to my holy mountain
and give them joy in my house of prayer.
They’ll be welcome to worship—
the same as the insiders,
to bring burnt offerings and sacrifices to my altar.Oh yes! My house of worship will be known as a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Prayer Watches for the Day
6am – Lord, cleanse Your house and remove every defilement contending against true prayer, purity, and power.
9am – Let every thief of spiritual appetite be driven out of my life, my home, and the Church in the name of Jesus.
12pm – I decree that the altar of prayer shall rise in every congregation, ministry, and household appointed by God.
3pm – Every merchandising spirit that corrupts worship and profanes holy things, be judged by the fire of God.
6pm – Father, restore reverence, brokenness, and the fear of the Lord in the sanctuary of Your people.
9pm – Let prayer rooms, pulpits, and homes become portals of glory where Christ is enthroned and flesh is subdued.
12am – I call forth a generation that loves Your presence more than performance and Your voice more than applause.
3am – O Lord, make Your Church a house of prayer for all nations, and let revival break out from the altar.
Note
You can combine all of these prayers at once—for example at 12 midnight, morning prayers, 12 noon, and 6 pm prayers. You are not restricted to these time frames. We encourage breaking of fast with communion, but it is not mandatory.
