DBS Blueprint Week 4
Today, 14th May 2026, we gather around the Word, prayer, fasting and obedience — asking God to raise disciples who go deep, obey quickly and multiply across Africa and the nations. 
🌍 Today’s Focus
This week is about building spiritual depth through a simple, reproducible Discovery Bible Study rhythm.
It is not about information alone. It is about hearing God, obeying what He says, sharing what we receive, and becoming people through whom others can also grow.
Today’s gathering is a private DBS. It can happen in a home, workplace, school, church, small group, online space, or anywhere people are willing to open the Word and obey together.

📖 DBS Today Scriptures
Encountering the Living Water. Jesus meets the thirsty, restores dignity and turns testimony into witness.
Choices have consequences. God calls us to master sin, walk in responsibility and choose obedience.
Jesus overcomes temptation by the Word. Victory begins with surrender and Scripture-rooted obedience.

The Bible in One Year journey helps every disciple grow in breadth, consistency and spiritual maturity.
Daily reading builds a long obedience in the same direction.
We are not only reading to finish chapters. We are reading to encounter God, understand His ways, obey His voice and become faithful witnesses.

🔥 Prayer & Fasting
Today we add prayer and fasting to our DBS rhythm because some growth requires deeper surrender.
Fasting humbles the body. Prayer aligns the heart. The Word renews the mind. Obedience activates faith.
As you fast, ask God for personal renewal, household salvation, spiritual clarity, breakthrough over temptation, and fresh hunger for His Word.
🙏 Prayer for Africa
Father, we lift up Africa before You. Let Your light rise over our families, cities, churches, schools, workplaces, governments and communities.
We pray for revival, peace, righteousness, justice, wisdom, unity and transformation. Raise disciples who carry truth with humility, courage and love.
Let every nation in Africa experience the power of the gospel, the healing of families, the restoration of communities and the multiplication of obedient disciples.

- Opening — 8 minutes
Share thanksgiving, challenges and support. Begin with gratitude and care. - Accountability — 8 minutes
What did you obey from last time? Who did you share with? What happened? - Scripture — 10 minutes
Read the passage. Retell it in your own words. Let everyone participate. - Discovery — 25–30 minutes
What do we learn about God? What do we learn about people? What must change? - Obedience & Commitment — 6–8 minutes
What will you obey this week? Who will you share this with? Be specific and personal. - Prayer — 4–5 minutes
Pray for needs, obedience, boldness, Africa and multiplication.

Choose one clear act of obedience from today’s reading.
It may be repentance, reconciliation, prayer, generosity, fasting, sharing your testimony, forgiving someone, or taking a step you have delayed.

Share one thing God showed you with one person today.
Keep it simple: “I read something today that challenged me…” or “I am learning to obey God in this area…”
Discipleship becomes movement when what God is doing in you begins to bless others through you.
