That moment.
The one she used to avoid.
In Nairobi, her days were full of small interactions.
Conversations.
Encounters.
Opportunities that came and went.
And recently, she had begun to notice them more.
Moments where she could speak.
Moments where she could step in.
Moments where she could respond.
But there was still something there.
A hesitation.
Not fear exactly.
But a pause.
“What if I say it wrong?”
“What if they don’t respond well?”
“What if this becomes awkward?”
Those thoughts came quickly.
Almost automatically.
And many times before…
they had stopped her.
But today felt different.
Not because she felt more confident.
But because she was more aware.
She recognized the moment.
And she recognized the hesitation.
And instead of stepping back…
she paused.
Took a breath.
And remembered:
She wasn’t doing this alone.
She had seen God work.
She had felt His leading.
She had stepped forward before—and He met her there.
So this time…
she didn’t wait for the perfect words.
She didn’t wait for the perfect moment.
She simply stepped in.
Spoke honestly.
Naturally.
And something shifted.
Not dramatically.
But clearly.
The conversation opened.
Not forced.
Not awkward.
Just… real.
She walked away from that moment realizing something powerful:
Boldness isn’t about feeling ready.
It’s about choosing to act when the moment comes.
And the more she responded…
the easier it became.
