Below are the 3 assignments
1st Assignment
You are going to form a conspiracy tomorrow, or today for some of you during service, to pray while the speaker, or the pastor is preaching.
Don’t shut your eyes unless you wish to, but keep asking God to speak through the pastor’s lips and in your hearts. Asking for God’s will, God’s rule and reign to be established during the service even if it means disrupting already arranged sermon or program. Asking that God touches the speaker or pastor or preacher and speaks through them and transforms their lives.
It will be an exciting experiment as you watch out for what happens. Get others involved in this assignment.. the more the better!
Remember, you are the church, and the pastor or speaker is your servant.
Each of you is just as important in making a great service as he is. He can’t do his best alone.
Your prayer sets the spiritual atmosphere without which no sermon can be great.
Together, you and I can lift the pastor and the service to new heights.
Miracles happen when a congregation makes this unanimous. It will not be unanimous unless it includes you.
That is the first assignment! Watch out for miracles
2nd Assignment
Second assignment: Focus your attention on one, two, three or more congregants during service – Praise worship, sermon etc. Ask specially that the Holy Spirit to hover over them, touching them where they need His touch most, ask to bring God’s rule and reign into their lives – 360° and mean it..You will never know how far reaching this could touch them beyond your wildest imagination.
3rd and Final assignment:
As you step out of the church into your home, in the cause of the week, pray the same prayers for the people you meet. You don’t need to open your mouth and they don’t need to be Christians..
The scriptural references for this assignment are as follows:
1) Romans 8:14, which states: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.”.
2) Matthew 18:18-20
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them”.
3) Isaiah 45:11-12
11 For the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker says this,
“Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And give Me orders concerning the work of My hands.
12 “I made the earth and created man upon it. My hands, stretched out the heavens, And commanded all their host.
