In praying for unity and revival in the church and Leadership, you should cover self, family, community, nation and the nations of the world.
You can find christians in these five realms – church is not the building, you are the temple of God – 1 Corinthians 3:16 Fellowships of church gatherings are equipping centres.. in confessing, take the place of everyone, no finger pointing, allow the Holy Spirit to bring to you as you meditate on areas confession is required, write them down so that when confessing out, you are dealing with real issues.
When worshiping, giving thanks and adoration, get the Holy Spirit to lead in worship that is acceptable to the Lord so that it can be in spirit and in Truth
Keep to the times of prayer as much as you can – 6am, 9am, 12 noon, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 12 midnight and 3am
Keep to the reading plan Genesis, Revelation, , back to back, open up to the Holy Spirit
Scriptures on confession for this is the giant in the room
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
