SHORT OPENING EXHORTATION
We do not enter these prayers casually.
Scripture is clear that the life of faith is not lived on neutral ground. From Genesis to Revelation, God’s purposes have always attracted resistance—not because they are weak, but because they are weighty. The enemy does not fight what carries no consequence.
The apostle Paul testified that even though God had clearly directed his ministry, “Satan hindered us” for a season. Not to defeat him—but to reveal the nature of the conflict and the necessity of spiritual discernment and perseverance.
God, in His mercy, often speaks ahead of time. He shows us the end before the battle begins so that when resistance comes, we are neither surprised nor discouraged. We learn that attacks are not the measure of failure; obedience is the measure of faithfulness.
What matters is not the intensity of the opposition, but whether we remain humble, aligned, and obedient enough to walk with God until His purpose fully unfolds. Even when God permits the enemy to act—as He did in the life of Christ—it is never outside His sovereignty. Satan remains a created being, fully subject to the authority of God.
This is why we pray.
This is why we keep records of God’s words and promises.
This is why we war from Scripture—not emotion.
Today, we stand not in fear, but in understanding.
Not reacting to attacks, but responding to divine purpose.

PRAYER:
Father, we come before You acknowledging that You are the Alpha and the Omega, the One who declares the end from the beginning. We thank You because nothing we face has taken You by surprise. As we enter this time of prayer, we submit ourselves afresh to Your authority and to the truth of Your Word.
Grant us clarity of mind, sobriety of spirit, and discernment of heart. Help us to pray according to Scripture, to stand according to truth, and to war from the position You have given us in Christ. We refuse fear, confusion, and discouragement. We receive understanding, endurance, and faith.
Let every prayer we offer align with Your will, enforce Your purposes, and glorify Your name. Prepare us now as we proceed, in Jesus’ name.
