Title: Revival and Unity – The irony of mixed Emotions on the 21st of October 2021:
Accomplishment, Celebration, and Bereavement all on the same day! How do you handle the mix? 36 of 40
Friends, I am passing the night at Nigeria’s precious stone state capital – Jalingo, Taraba State.
It is just amazing how God had endowed this nation with so much resources that hardly can you find any state that does not have a self sustaining treasure within her. May God wake this sleeping giant of a nation called NIGERIA by whatever means possible to take her place in the divine destiny God had graciously bestowed on her in Jesus name, AMEN!
I have taken the liberty to add some scenaries from the eastern part of Nigeria in the axis of Abia, Ebonyi and some northern states as you travel with me on this Spiritual journey of recovering our nation from the precipice, if we permit ourselves to so do.

It just occurred to me that the divine Instruction will be completed tomorrow the 21st of October 2021 after all the hassles and the hustles. Thank God for our accomplishment. It is all our accomplishment.
Some prayed, some gave, some called and some saw us to the finish, tracking our movement every step of the way.
Thank God for this. We shall not all lose our rewards in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Our prayer is that the church will do an individualized critical self examination with the intent of making individualized corrective actions that will have not just local but global ramifications for our God who called us into His marvelous light and commanded us to do likewise for others who are still in darkness.
For relevance to the title : Revival and Unity – The irony of mixed Emotions on the 21st of October 2021: Accomplishment, Celebration and Bereavement all on the same day! How do you handle the mix? 36 of 40, I will like you to mark the finishing date – tomorrow, 21st October 2021 and relative to accomplishment emotions.
Now, 21st of October 2021 is my 21st wedding anniversary with my lovely wife – Comfort. Note 21 years, on the 21st day of the month in the year of our Lord, 2000 and 21.
Those are 9 sevens derived from 7 signifying perfection in 3 places times 3 = 9 perfections! To God be the glory! That is the cause of the celebration on the 21st of October 2021 in our title of Revival and Unity today.
Now, concerning bereavement, coincidentally, 21st and 22nd were agreed for the burial of my niece and my brother who passed on in the cause of my national exercise.
If you found yourself in this kind of situation, how would you handle the mix?
Whilst I was driving and thinking and meditating over these irony, the Holy Spirit brought me this scripture.
*Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
3 To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted,
3 A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up,
4 A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 A time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away,
7 A time to rend and a time to sew, a time to keep silence and a time to speak,
8 A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
In meditating, I realize that time for God and His instructions for my life comes first. So, I took the following decision that I will finish up my assignment tomorrow, same day, then head home, give my wife a kiss and a big embrace and head home for the burial.
The scripture encourages me not to grieve like the unbelievers that do not have hope. My brother and niece died christians. The had the assurance of salvation. If they didn’t, I would have grieved for sure because the scriptures says, ” *Hebrews 9:27*
*_King James Version27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”_*
Once burial and mourning is completed, I can return back to Comfort, continue serving God until He takes me home to be with Him forever.
What would you do if you were in my place with this kind of mixed emotions all in one day?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Shalom!
