I would like to start with the last item on our title today on “True story on how to develop strong burning desire”
Strong Burning Desire is the Secret to Success
A young man asked Socrates the secret to success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him towards the river. When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water. The boy struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue. Socrates pulled his head out of the water and the first thing the young man did was to gasp and take a deep breath of air. Socrates asked, ‘What did you want the most when you were there?” The boy replied, “Air.” Socrates said, “That is the secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted the air, then you will get it.” There is no other secret.
Moral of the short story:
A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment. Just like a small fire cannot give much heat, a weak desire cannot produce great results.
Now, to our today’s first part of our title, if you are like me who have spent considerable time in this part of eternity, you will agree with me that in the course of our journey here on earth, you and I would have taken decisions in the spur of the moment with sometimes devastating consequences as fruits of our wrong choices.
Some of those choices, humanly speaking, are not morally wrong choices but choices that we made or are making without input from our creator God.
Let’s drill this home
How many of us sort God’s input concerning whom to marry?
What business venture to embark on?
What career to pursue? Where to live?
Where to fellowship?
Who should we take as our business or ministry partner?
To whom are we sent? Where is our mission field?
What message should we preach or teach this Sunday?
What are the specific details of our lives purposes?
….And a host of other questions that time wouldn’t permit me to pencil down here.
Some of us did ask some of these questions but never got a response from God and so we plunge headlong and damned the consequences!
Some of us don’t even have a clue as to how to dialogue with God, or even contemplate asking questions.
Some of us have narrowed the DECISION from God to – YES, NO, and WAIT – like a programmed Robot for thinking out LOUD 🔊
Some of us have handed the sensitive communication with God to others, like in the old testament, not realizing that every child of God have an inate capacity to dialogue with God one-on-one if we are willing, ready and desirous to train our spiritual senses to pickup messages and send messages to our Father, who is willing and ready to engage us in conversation, anytime, anyplace, if we are willing, ready and desirous to follow through some basic protocols.
God has a perfect plan and purpose for each and every one of us that is precise, tailor made and generic to us like the uniqueness in our individual DNA.
Concerning your purpose and plans in God,
God is not a cloner.
God is not a duplicator.
God is as precise as precise can be.
God is so precise to the level of perfection without error.
To prove this point of God’s plans, purpose and perfection attributes, let’s explore some scriptural five (5) examples before we look into how you can download the plans and purposes for your own life:
1) Perfect Declaration to the father of Faith – Abraham
Genesis 17:1-2

17 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am the Almighty God; walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete).

5) God detailing His plans concerning humanity before we showed up here
Genesis 1:26-28

How do we then take the GUESS work out of decision making in are walk and work with God? – Seven (7) to the plans
1) Write Down your question(s) be precise as possible, bring up any discussion item on any issue.. nothing is off limit for discussion with our heavenly Father
2) Go into intense thanksgiving, praise and worship whilst virtualizing God in your minds eye.. use Revelation 4 and Isaiah 6 as a typical picture to model in your mind. Your mind, your imagination, your emotions, your will and your intelect are crucial part of the engagement, the Holy Spirit will help bring wisdom and understanding, through knowledge as revealed by the Holy Spirit which gives wisdom and understanding for the purpose – Colossians 1:9
Colossians 1:9-12

9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[a] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[b] to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
3) Let go of all concerns that pull you down – emotionally, physically, psychologically in life and Empty them at His fit, whilst still focusing on Him. Avoid distractions at this point, keeping Him in focus always!
How Valuable is Your Mind?
Your mind is the most expensive piece of real estate in the entire universe. God needs that space, the devil is projecting all kinds of thought to it and issues of life are also seeking for attention. Your mind is an important and valuable asset beyond, Diamond, Gold, silver or land. Filter everything that crosses your mind ALWAYS
Proverbs 4:22-24Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.
24 Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you
4) Present your case through thought or words. He is Your Father. Communication with SPIRIT is usually spirit to SPIRIT through thoughts projection and reception and perception.
5) Be still and Know that He is God – Psalm 46:10
Be attentive to thoughts that are foreign to you that light upon your mind and peaceful. Be attentive to voices from within you. Write your impressions down. If unclear, seek clarification by asking again.

6) Continue this process until you have clean, clear detailed answers to your petitions. It could come same day, within a week, two weeks, a week or a month. All depends on the time you are willing to put into concentrated focus on the Father.

2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

These detailed plans will fuel your energy levels, build faith because you now have a substance to run with it. This build desire that is so crucial to answered prayers.
7) Thank Him for every response which could come to you through thought impressions on your mind, auditory response also on your mind, visions of imagines on your mind, dreams, visible encounters or any other format He choses to get back to you on. Also, He might send some messages through others to confirm what you have asked Him in the body of Christ. Be open to any channel He uses. Don’t box God in a box. He is limitless. Keep writing down or record via audio what He tells you. Those details are ammunition for warfare until the invisible substance He Himself revealed to you becomes manifested in the physical Realm.
Now, Get the Nexus between Perfect Plans with Perfect Purpose and Perfect RED HOT DESIRE
You cannot receive anything from God without red hot desire to secure answers from Him.

*How to develop desire*
Desire is developed in the secret place of seeking, searching, knocking at the door of relationship with Your heavenly Father. Using the 7 point process above, you develop that intimate relationship with Your Father in Heaven.

13 Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

If it is not important to you to the extent that you are willing to do all that it takes to secure His perfect plans with Perfect Purpose, in the secret place, and then follow through with the help of the Holy Spirit to pursue that which He has deposited in your spirit, then it is not important to Him.
Until you have done your level best that is humanly possible, I don’t think you would have earned the right to covert heavenly assistance to securing your perfect plans and purposes God.
Jesus said to His disciples, in Mark 11:24
Authorized (King James) Version
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever *ye desire,* when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them
Desire is a very strong word. Without strong, sustained desire, I doubt if you and I will be able to attain anything impactful and lasting for God in the spirit of perfection as detailed by God in the secret place.
When *desire meets with the help of the Holy Spirit,* result is inevitable..

*26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you*
I didn’t read that the Holy Spirit will do the work for us. I read in the above text that the Holy Spirit will help us do the things that God has shown us as we engage Him and start doing what we can humanly do. Then and only then the Holy Spirit, comes along side us to help us complete to perfection in plans and purposes, that which God has shown us in the secret place of waiting.
I repeat the story I started with. Now, let’s look at *“True story on how to develop strong desire”*
