Heavenly Father,
Today we lift up [insert celebrant’s name] on this special day of their birth. Thank You for the gift of life, and for the breath that continues to flow through them. As they step into a new year, may they grow in deeper intimacy with You.

Let this be the year they become a true worshiper—one who worships You in spirit and in truth, beyond rituals, beyond performance, and into the fullness of relationship. Awaken within them a burning desire to know You more and to live a life that pleases You.

*Prayer:*
Sovereign Lord,
On this national day of celebration, we lift up the people and leaders of [insert nation’s name] before Your throne. Thank You for the gift of nationhood and the grace that has sustained this land thus far. But more than prosperity and independence, we cry out for spiritual awakening—that this nation may be filled with true worshipers, who worship You in spirit and in truth.

Father, pour out Your Holy Spirit afresh across every city, tribe, and tongue. Ignite revival from the hearts of individuals to the halls of government. Let the Church arise in power, walking in love and boldness, being true witnesses of Christ—starting from their homes and stretching to the ends of the earth.

Break down the idols of pride, corruption, and false worship. Raise up a generation that seeks Your face and walks in Your truth. May this nation not just be great in wealth, but great in spirit—standing as a beacon of Your kingdom values.

*Michael’s Story:*
Michael couldn’t shake the voice in his head: “You’re  not enough.” It echoed in boardrooms, in his marriage, even in church. Every time someone didn’t  acknowledge his efforts, the wound reopened. He  worked harder to prove his worth, but the applause  never lasted.

*Grace’s Story:*
Grace once dreamed of being a singer. But the night her mother laughed and said, “Don’t embarrass  yourself,” the dream died. Since then, every  opportunity felt like a trap, every compliment a lie.  She masked her gifts under humility, afraid to be
seen.

*Devotional Insight:*
Rejection plants lies deep within us: “You’re not worthy,” “You’ll never measure up,” “You’re
unlovable.” But these are not your thoughts—they’re seeds the enemy sows to steal your identity, kill your
confidence, and destroy your destiny.

Jesus didn’t just come to save your soul—He came to restore your whole life, including your worth, voice, and identity.

Today, identify the lie. Uproot it. Replace it with truth. God’s truth is not reactive—it’s redemptive.

Jesus, You came to give me abundant life. I reject every lie that says I’m worthless or unwanted. I uproot these lies and receive Your truth: I am loved, valuable, and created for purpose. Heal me from the inside out. Amen.
