Brothers and sisters,

On a constant basis, we receive prayer requests.

Requests for marriages under pressure.
Financial situations that no longer make sense.
Jobs lost without warning.
Sicknesses that remain—despite prayers, fasting, and hands laid.

Counseling needs are increasing.

People are overwhelmed—emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

And beyond our personal lives, look at the world.

Wars breaking out everywhere.
Instability across nations.
Violence increasing.

It is beginning to feel like life itself is losing value.

And in the middle of this, we are fasting.

This is the 4th day of our 40-day fast.

Normally, during such seasons, I reduce engagement.

But this message… I was compelled by the Holy Spirit to send it.

Because what we are facing is not random.

It is spiritual.

“We were doing better before we became Christians…”

Some were prayed for, and instead of healing, the sickness intensified… and they died.

Some are working tirelessly, yet cannot pay their bills.

Some have labored for years and now carry overwhelming debt.

Some faithful servants of God are under relentless pressure, while others seem to receive answers quickly.

Some marriages we celebrated ended in months.

Some prophetic words—20, 30 years later—are still waiting.

And the question rises:

Did the prophet lie?
Is God unfaithful?
Or is something wrong with my faith?

Scripture Anchors Us

Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

2 Corinthians 5:7
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Faith is not what you see.

Faith is what you hold when you cannot see.

This Is a Time of Testing

This is a time of testing.

Not for a few—but for all.

Believers and unbelievers alike.

The question is no longer just what you believe.

What is the anchor of your faith?

Mark 9:49
“Everyone will be salted with fire.”

Fire reveals. Fire tests. Fire exposes what is real.

Any faith can appear strong in good times.

But what about when:

• prayers delay
• sickness remains
• pressure increases
• time stretches beyond understanding

That is where faith is defined.

Prayer of Repentance

“Lord, forgive me for misunderstanding faith.
Forgive me for measuring You by outcomes.
Forgive me for thinking delay meant denial.
Forgive me for thinking suffering meant failure.
Teach me to trust You rightly.”

The Pattern of Scripture

Abel obeyed—and died.

Noah obeyed—and was mocked.

Abraham believed—and waited.

Joseph dreamed—but suffered.

Moses was called—but hidden.

David was anointed—but hunted.

Jeremiah spoke—but was rejected.

Daniel prayed—and faced lions.

Three young men stood—and entered fire.

Then Jesus… crucified.

Then the apostles… martyred.

“They were all commended for their faith.”

Modern Reality

Two businessmen… one compromises, one stands.

Two students… one cheats, one refuses.

Two missionaries… one seeks comfort, one endures.

Like Hudson Taylor… faith anchored in calling, not results.

Personal Reflection

I have just gone through eye surgery.

Healing is a process.

Yet the work continues.

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.”

Eternal Perspective

Some answers will come in your lifetime.

Some will not.

Some seeds you plant—you will never see grow.

But in eternity… someone may say:

“Thank you… you saved my destiny.”

The final verdict is not here—it is there.

What Must You Do

• Anchor your faith in God—not outcomes
• Refuse comparison
• Resist pressure
• Strengthen your spiritual life
• Stand

Prayer

“Lord, strengthen my faith.
Correct my understanding.
Help me trust You beyond what I see.
Help me remain faithful—whether I see results now or later.”

“Father,

In this season of testing, strengthen Your people.
Restore weak faith.
Renew tired hearts.
Bring clarity where there is confusion.
Teach us to walk by faith, not by sight.

In Jesus’ name.”

Declaration

“I walk by faith, not by sight.
My faith is not in outcomes—it is in God.

Even when I do not see results, God is working.
Even when I do not understand, God is faithful.

My obedience is not wasted.
My waiting is not empty.

I will stand.
I will trust.
I will endure.

And whether in time or in eternity,
God’s purpose for my life will stand.”

Conclusion

Faith is not proven when everything works.

Faith is proven when nothing seems to be working… and you still trust God.

This is that season.

And in the end—what is real will remain.
