📖 Today’s Focus: John 1
🙏 Revelation About God
- God reveals Himself through His Word — Jesus Christ.
- The Word is eternal—not created.
- God intentionally brings light into darkness.
- He invites relationship—but does not force acceptance.
Insight: God is always speaking—but not everyone is receiving.
👤 Revelation About People
- People can see the light and still reject it.
- Familiarity can blind us—they did not recognize Him.
- Receiving Christ is a decision, not an assumption.
Insight: Exposure to truth is not the same as transformation.
🔍 Identity & Potential
One powerful moment stood out:
Jesus saw Simon… but called him Peter.
He spoke to his potential, not just his present state.
This challenges us deeply:
Do we relate to people based on what we currently see…
or what God is calling them to become?
⚖️ The Great Divide
- Those who receive Him → become children of God
- Those who reject Him → remain unchanged
John 1:12
🔥 The Real Shift
This was not just about understanding Scripture—it became deeply personal and practical.
What will I do this week with what I have learned?
Who will I share this with?
🔥 What Must Change (Conviction Moment)
- Moving from hearing → receiving
- Moving from knowing → becoming
- Moving from casual faith → intentional obedience
Key realization: Transformation begins where obedience starts.
✅ Obedience Commitments
- Intentional daily time in the Word
- Immediate response to God’s prompting
- Living consciously as children of God
🔁 Multiplication (A Defining Moment)
Each participant identified at least one person to share with this week:
- Coworkers
- Friends
- Family
Discipleship is not complete until it is shared.
