Friends, I slept in the city of Ilorin, Kwara state today after a long and lonely 10 to 11 hours stretch of driving from Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state, after completing Sokoto state through very bad roads in Niger State into the city of Ilorin – Kwara State
Usually, this stretch from Kebbi to Ilorin should take about 9hours plus but for the bad roads.
From here, I head off to cover Ekiti, Osun, Kogi, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Lagos and then swing to the South South, SE and finish up in Adamawa and Taraba State, God willing! 21 States left of 37

*A Repeat Incidence in the same city*
11 years, 7 months ago, during my first travel, in Birnin Kebbi, I had 4 more states to finish up the assignment, namely ABUJA, Niger, Kogi and Kwara state and I became tired, my back was in a bad shape for long hours of driving and told the Lord, I will return back to Lagos and finish up later. BUT by morning, the Lord added to my assignment that I should ensure I get to Aso Rock and ensure I pass on the message to the presidency. I woke up, the back pain was gone and I did touch base with Aso Rock. I passed on 24 copies of the book to the 24 man prayer chain team Obasanjo had put together in Aso Rock but now inherited by President Goodluck Jonathan – April 2010. I told the team to ensure the president gets 4 copies of the book, alerting of the trouble coming and the need for revival.
That day, I left ABUJA at about 4pm for Kogi state. The rest is history.
I brought this up because I got tired in Birnin Kebbi again this time around and I had to open up to one of my partners on the source of my tiredness.
We have this notion that when we serve God, He owes us something. We owe God our lives, our very existence. We owe God the painful death, burial and resurrection of His Son. If not for our wickedness and sin, the Son wouldn’t have had to go through what He went through.
I wonder at times: How can the Son, all knowing, say, in the Garden of Gethsemane, “If it is possible, let this cup pass, not my will but yours be done?” Which cup is this? Obviously, the cup of suffering and separation from the Father.
I am persuaded to say that Jesus, although God did not have all the details for the sake and authenticity of the assignment – He had to be perfectly man to qualify to represent man and me fully man to die the death for man that brought about the authentic redemption for man. He knew there was a cross but the specific details, those information were not given to Him.
Joseph had a dream, a final picture of God’s purpose and plan for his life. But the pit, the blackmail, the suffering in chain, through the desert were not revealed to him. So are we also. You will be given the final picture but the step by step process will be unveiled as you delibrately seek and search and knock and hold out to the very end!
The scripture says in *Proverbs 25:2-3*
2 It is the glory of *God to conceal a thing,* but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.
3 As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, so the hearts and minds of kings are unsearchable

_*9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.*_
You see, there are certain things concerning your life and the assignment God has for you that cannot be found on the surface. It will require your separation – both physical and in isolation, in prayer and fasting, In much prayer and much fasting. When you do that, you begin to evesdrope into conversations in the throne room of God and where you fit in into the divine plan and purposes – You are not here by mistake. God is not without purpose for each life. Failure is inability to discover purpose. Success is not about material things like money and houses and all that money can buy. Although, that is necessary. Success is finding and fulfilling God’s purpose. Not your defined or others defined purpose for your life .

I need you to read and MEDITATE on this scripture of the dialogue going on between Jesus, James and John’s mother and the Disciples as follows:
Matthew 20:20-28

*The Mother of James and John Asks Jesus Something Hard*
20 The mother of Zebedee’s children (James and John) came to Jesus with her sons. She got down on her knees before Jesus to ask something of Him. 21 He said to her, “What do you want?” She said, “Say that my two sons may sit, one at Your right side and one at Your left side, when You are King.” 22 Jesus said to her, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to take the suffering that I am about to take? (*Are you able to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?)” They said, “Yes, we are able.” 23 He said to them, “You will suffer as I will suffer. But the places at My right side and at My left side are not Mine to give. Whoever My Father says will have those places.”
24 The other ten followers heard this. They were angry with the two brothers. 25 Jesus called them to Him and said, “You know how the kings of the nations show their power to the people. Important leaders use their power over the people. 26 It must not be that way with you. But whoever wants to be great among you, let him care for you. 27 Whoever wants to be first among you, let him be your servant. 28 For the Son of Man came not to be cared for. He came to care for others. He came to give His life so that many could be bought by His blood and made free from the punishment of sin.
*Comment:*
The long and short of the above scripture is that every assignment has a cup of suffering. The greatest should serve. The first should be last. More importantly, you should be careful what you ask God in the place of prayer because you can get what you did not bargain for which later will be to you and others of great benefit.
You see, one of my uncle had a saying that goes like this – *“The enemy of the BEST is the GOOD.”*
*Living and succeeding in London*
The year 2005, I was in London, I had a great business that allowed me to fund mission work across the world. Money was not my problem at this time. I was paying down my house mortgage.
Regularly, I fast, asking God that I want to be in the centre of His will for my life because I knew, by intuition, as a result of my regular fasting and prayer that London was not the place of assignment.
Although, I was succeeding in terms of worldly success. See attached my house in the UK and the window through which the Lord visited me on the 38th day of my first 40 days waiting in prayer and fasting and in which the Lord thrust the burden of Unity on me.
This picture came about lately when I used Google to do research on the Lord’s visitation on geographic coordinate. I was researching why every so often the Lord visits me, it is usually from the North pole. Including the latest 40 day fast, also on the 38th day in September 2021, which culminated into this nationwide spiritual tour.
So one day, that is 2005, in London, I prayed this prayer – *Lord, move me, even if it is by force, from where I am, to where I need to be to fulfill the purpose for my life.”*
After this prayer, I began to see myself in Nigeria. When I left Nigeria, my intention was not to return. So, I started binding and loosing. The more I did that, the more I found myself in Nigeria.
Long story short, the business failed because the partners who brought me the deal started fighting. I could not get a tenant into the property in the UK whilst I was in Nigeria, that is now 2006. So, by 2007, we lost that property.
My first assignment on Nationwide tour came in 2010, after much hesitation. Because, beginning of every year, 2007, 2008, 2009, I will go seek the Lord on the mountain, asking why He brought me back and what was His assignment for me. He never said anything until 2009 and I did nothing until 2010 when He showed me the destruction Bokoharam was going to unleash on Nigeria. Then He got my attention.
What am I saying here? There is or there are cost(s) involved in your assignment for God. It is usually a cup of suffering that is tied to the benefit to the kingdom. The world call it – cost / benefit or risk/ reward – The greater the cost, the greater the benefit to the kingdom.
The scripture says, “To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). If you have heard that line of wisdom, you know it means we are held responsible for what we have. If we have been blessed with talents, wealth, knowledge, time, and the like, it is expected that we benefit others.
Jesus had the cross, what is your cross? Ask God, He will tell you. But ask, having a mindset that whatever it is? You will do..

23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. 24 For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake, he is the one who will save it [from the consequences of sin and separation from God].
