Title: REVIVAL and UNITY – Five (5) Critical Good Habits that will make YOU a Winner by your DAILY affirmation
1) PREPARATION. Speak out so you can hear yourself! – “I will do all I must before, so that I can enjoy the results after”
Nothing succeeds long term without adequate time for planning. God said, “let us make man in our image, after our likeness…. ” Genesis 1 …that word “let” is an indication to a plan already in motion. If God had to plan, you just have no option than to plan. The greater the vision, the more intense the planning season required. I don’t care if it is an examination, ministry outreach or building a great nation, they all requires planning.
2) ACTION. “I will do what I need to do right now because tomorrow may be too late.”
Affirm this out loud to yourself until the spirit of procastination finds no space inside of you.
When you speak words, those words hang in the air until they find expression so that the intent is accomplished. Mind your words spoken from your heart for they are life!
Faith without works is dead faith. …James 2:14-26
3) PRAYER.“I realize that my destiny is too great for me to attempt alone. God will be my constant help and source of strength to fulfill my dreams and achieve my destiny which are Gods in the first place as I am attentive in attracting and keeping God’s sent helpers into my life every step of the way.”
Ask for help, not because you are weak but because you want to remain strong to pursue, and recover all that God has destined for your life.
Moses had the 72, Jesus had the 12, including women who supported Him –
Luke 8:1-3
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
8 Soon afterward, [Jesus] went on through towns and villages, preaching and bringing the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve [apostles] were with Him,
2 And also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had been expelled;
3 And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s household manager; and Susanna; and many others, who ministered to and provided for [a]Him and them out of their property and personal belongings.
So, where are your helpers? Don’t play God! Even God needed the WORD and the HOLY SPIRIT to put together a WORLD so beautiful and yet so complex – Find the helpers beginning today, for it is pride not to!
Men ought to pray ..Like 18:1
4) CHARACTER.“I will live life with honesty and integrity, the kind of attributes that will not just get me to the top, but keep me there.”
God can have great plans for your life but these plans can be undermined by a bad character.
Samson’s birth was announced to His parents by angels but he could not withhold himself from strange women and he died committing suicide without his eyes, in the midst of his enemies Judges 16:30.
Time won’t permit me to talk about the wise man who ever lived. His name is Solomon who took over 1000 women and these women turned his eyes from God who gave him wisdom and riches and honor that attracted these women to him in the first place.
Solomon, third king of Israel (reigned c. 968–928 B.C.E.), is said to have had a harem that included 700 wives and 300 concubines (1 Kgs 11:3). His wives were to have included the daughter of Pharaoh, as well as women of Moabite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite origins (1 Kgs 7:8; 11:1).
With all your getting, develop character. It is not a microwave affair – it will take time! You will fail frequently but keep at developing godly character and it will amaze you what God will do for you and with your life.
5) DISCIPLINE. “I will continue to do what it takes to succeed, even when the excitement has dwindled, the new has worn off, and things become routine.”
Good discipline requires pain as a vital incredient to classifying or calling it discipline. Hence the lack or scarcity of discipline in our day and age.
People run away from any activity or endeavor that has or have any appearance of pain but that is where success can be found. It is in the arena of pain that good and godly discipline can be found. Even bad disciple requires pain as well.
Some definition of discipline are as follows:
A) to punish or penalize for the sake of enforcing obedience and perfecting moral character
B) to train or develop by instruction and exercise especially in self-control
C) to bring (a group) under control
Hebrews 12:5-11
“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”
What our nation is going through right now is a discipline from the Lord. We were warned through countless many including my humble self 11 years, 6 month ago but we refused to repent. Repentance requires that we submit ourselves to godly discipline. So shall it be in Jesus name, Amen
The next phase of our trip is Kaduna, Kano, Dutse – Jigawa, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Niger, Birnin Kebbi and Kwara.
As you pray, use me as a point of contact to these cities. Proclaim what you don’t want and decree what you want and you will see the salvation of the Lord in our Churches, in our neighborhood, in our homes, in our nation and the Nations of the World in Jesus name.
I would have loved to stay home and pray to bring about a change in the land, especially with the terrible state the country is in right now security wise like everyone of us praying for revival and unity. But the Lord compelled me to take a spiritual prayer walk (tour) across the length and breadth of our country..who am I to give God options?
11 years, 6 months ago when the instruction came to do a spiritual tour, I was instructed to sell my land to finance the trip and publish the book which I obeyed promptly.
This year, He says I should but out my account details and He will move hearts to give.
In this particular trip, the engine knocked and I refuse to be deterred by distractions for the ramifications are immense and the enemy is kicking but it is already in vain!
So, If you are led by His Spirit to support this national effort, the Lord bless you indeed in Jesus name, amen. GTB PLC 0009592226 Monday OGBE
