Pastor Daniel and Sister Maria were from two different church organizations in the same city. Pastor Daniel led a struggling congregation in a suburban neighborhood, while Sister Maria was an intercessory leader in a growing but divided urban church. Their paths rarely crossed, but both faced a crisis that tested their faith.
Pastor Daniel’s church was falling apart due to financial struggles and internal division. The elders disagreed on the church’s vision, members took sides, and a faction wanted to shut the doors permanently. The congregation, once vibrant, was now bitter and fragmented.
Meanwhile, Sister Maria’s church was under spiritual attack. Leadership conflicts, gossip, and pride had created tension among pastors and ministry heads. The church was losing its focus on prayer and outreach.
*The Turning Point: A Call to Unity*
One day, at a city-wide prayer gathering, Pastor Daniel and Sister Maria met. Both shared their burdens, realizing that the enemy was using disunity to destroy their churches. They prayed together and felt led to unite their faith, believing that if their churches worked together, God would bring restoration.
Determined to break the spirit of division, they launched a Joint Prayer and Revival Initiative. They invited leaders and members from both churches to fast, pray, and seek God’s will. They set aside doctrinal differences and personal opinions to focus on unity in Christ.
At first, resistance was strong. Some church members refused to join forces, claiming their traditions were different. Others doubted prayer could change anything. But as Pastor Daniel and Sister Maria persisted, walls began to break. Leaders repented, intercessors arose, and the presence of God filled their gatherings.

Over the next few months, miracles happened:
Pastor Daniel’s church received unexpected financial support. The building was renovated, and new members joined.
Sister Maria’s church experienced revival. Conflicts among leaders ended, and the Holy Spirit moved powerfully in their meetings.

*The Cost of Disunity: A Church That Fell Apart*
In contrast, another local church in the same city refused to embrace unity. The pastors were divided over leadership roles, and members took sides in petty arguments. Pride and offense took root, and rather than seeking reconciliation, they allowed bitterness to grow.
Within a year, that church split. One faction started a new congregation, while the other dissolved entirely. Many members stopped attending church altogether. Where unity brought revival, disunity brought destruction.

Pastor Daniel and Sister Maria’s story proves that unity in faith is not just a biblical ideal—it’s a weapon against the enemy’s plans. Begin by thanking God for the opportunity to engage in this spiritual discipline and for His unwavering love and grace.

Pray for God to lead and direct you throughout this 40-day journey, revealing His will and purpose for your life.
*Ask for Strength and Endurance:*
Request the strength and endurance needed to persevere through any challenges or temptations that may arise during this period.
*Pray for Others: The Church and Leadership*
*Made PERFECTLY ONE in unity part 4* is the keyword today for the Church and Leadership on the 7 mountains, as you focus on John 17, Isaiah 62, and Ephesians 4

*Consider Your Fast:*
Determine the type of fast you will be following, whether it’s a complete fast from food and water, or a partial fast where you abstain from certain foods or drinks. Say, till 12 pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, or 12 midnight. We encourage taking loads of water during this time.
*Purpose of Fasting:*
Remember that fasting is not just about physical deprivation, but about spiritual discipline and seeking God with a sincere heart as you prepare your heart to pray for the church and leadership.
*Replace Time with Prayer and Scripture:*
We have outlined the reading plans above. Follow this outline as much as you can. There is a reason we placed revelation as next reading right after Genesis.. discoveries will blow your mind as the Holy Spirit brings insights. This process came to me by revelation and you will do well to follow the outline
Dedicate the time you would normally spend eating to prayer, Bible study, and seeking God’s presence.

Establish specific goals for each day of prayer and fasting, such as a particular scripture passage to study as outlined above or a specific prayer focus as for praying for church and leadership

Check in with the God’s Eagle ministry Intercessory group and the GEM community larger group to chat up others or any information that can grow your faith as we will be placing content daily to help focus, retention and righteous action.
*Be Patient and Persistent:*
Remember that spiritual growth and stamina takes time and effort. Be patient with yourself and trust in God’s timing and guidance.
*Reflect and Evaluate:*
At the end of each day, take time to reflect on your experiences and evaluate your progress, especially with the scripture reading. What are you learning? What is God saying to you? What are the new insights the Lord is bringing your way that you have never contemplated before? As you seek God’s wisdom and guidance for the days ahead.
