Title: Annual Forty (40) Days Prayer and Fasting for Church and Leadership on Unity and Revival – Week 3 of 6 – Pray and uproot RED FLAGS in the churches: Twelve (12) Foundational Lies for violent shaking in Churches and leadership – Week 3 of 6 – Thursday 31st of March to Wednesday 6th of April 2022 + War 2022 Update – Russia and Ukraine and your positioning
Subtitle: Perfect RED FLAGS in Perfect WORDS, WORKS, And WONDERS – Twelve (12) Foundational Lies in Churches and in and Amongst Leadership that needs to be discerned as RED FLAGS in the churches, prayed to be shaken Up and uprooted for Revival and Unity to manifest in the Churches and Leadership – Day 14 of 40
Dear Friends, congratulations on making it to the fourteenth (14th) day of our annual prayer and fasting! We have twenty-four (26) more days to the end! More Grace to You!
At this point, your spiritual sensitivity should have been heightened than usual as you have submerged yourself in God’s words and keeping focus on Him, the author and finisher of your faith!
By way of digression, let’s have a quick update on the Russian and Ukraine war and how you can position yourself for the shaking taking place worldwide!
War 2022 Update – Russia and Ukraine and your positioning
From the spiritual perspective, this war just started. It will impact everything that can be impacted worldwide! We pray for Mercy!
This is not business as usual and it is not time to be at ease in Zion. It is time to be discerning concerning movements, investments and settlement.
We see energy crisis heating Europe the likes the west has never seen before that will reverberated far beyond the epicenter of the war, driving energy cost to a whole new level for households.
For business people, we will encourage diversification both in partnership (Introducing east/west Geo-economic mix) and forex holdings. For risk management purposes, we will encourage balancing your Forex reserves by introducing other currencies beyond the dollar and exploring cryptocurrency investments at this point.
More importantly, be discerning and involve the Holy Spirit in your daily decision-making matrix as situations and circumstances are changing at lightning speed.
Concerning the war, just pray for mercy for favorable intervention because this is the finger of God at play here.
God does not bring about revival when all is perfect for us if we go by precedence of His dealing with the children of Israel. God allows, permits and sometimes initiate shaking so that our brains can have a reset for revival. Read this text from Psalm in:
Psalm 46:6-11
The Passion translation
When the nations are in uproar with their tottering kingdoms, God simply raises His voice, and the earth begins to disintegrate before Him. Here He comes! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us! Pause in His presence
Everyone look! Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God. For He brings both ruin and revival. He’s the one who makes conflicts end throughout the earth, breaking and burning every weapon of war. Surrender your anxiety. Be still and realize that I AM GOD. I Am God above all the nations, and I Am Exalted throughout the whole earth. Here He stands! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us! Pause in His presence.
From the Watchers – God’s Eagle Ministries!
Now continuing with our title today concerning heightened spiritual sensitivity by the 16th day, you will notice your prayer request which started as general terms will become more detailed as the Holy Spirit begins to redirect your prayers according to God’s predetermined counsel concerning the matters presented – In dreams, visions, thought impressions that light upon the mid, audible voice and others.
For instance, we started with revival and unity as general terms and after the first week of confession, praise, thanksgiving and worship, the Holy Spirit brought us seven (7) laser targeted prayer points to focus on which you can find via this link for the second week of two titles:
Pray and intercede intensely for the next 7777 – Seven (7) Days, Seven (7) Weeks, Seven (7) Months and Seven (7) Years concerning Shaking, Testing, Temptations and Trials for the churches and leadership amongst the nations through refiners fire, meditating on the following scriptures and prayer: Haggai 2:6; Hebrews 12:26; Mark 9:49-50, Malachi 3:2-4, 1 Peter 1:7; Revelation 3:18; Psalm 66:10 -12; Isaiah 48:9-11; Jeremiah 9:7-9; Zechariah 13:8-9; 1 Peter 4:12-17 + How can we take our position and sit with Christ in the heavenly places? We also brought you this title within that week: Perfect Point of Contact in perfect WORDS, WORKS and WONDERS- 40-day prayer and fasting for Church and Leadership: A New Day and a New Dawn has begun in the body of Christ – Day 8 of 40 + Testimony of healing, deliverance and restoration from broken bone after motorcycle accident in the last 7 days and learning

In this third (3rd) week, the Holy Spirit led us to focus on the number one (1) item on that first seven (7) list presented in the second week, which is shaking concerning anything that is not based on God’s foundation manifesting actively in our churches and amongst leadership.
God is not disorganized, neither is He on the surface that you can just engage lukewarmly. God feeds hungry people, those who are hungry to be agents of the plans He has outlined in His heart to deploy on the earth realm. Those who want to engage with Him first intimately on a relational level before He can partner with us on the issues at stake. He is actively looking for yielded partners to work with – Those who are not self-seeking and thinking always about themselves and less about others with a me, myself and I syndrome.
Read this to confirm the above word in:
2 Chronicles 16:8-10
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
8 Were not the Ethiopians and Libyans a huge host with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied then on the Lord, He gave them into your hand.
9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. You have done foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you shall have wars.
10 Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in prison [in the stocks], for he was enraged with him because of this. Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.
When we want to run show by our abilities and also relying on abilities of others without taking God first in our earthly dealings, we are displaying the fruit of pride. God Himself will pull our efforts down. We end up like king Asa as depicted in the above text in 2 Chronicles 16:8-10. God said from then concerning ASA, He will have wars!.
God is either the Lord of our lives in words and also in practice or else we have the highway – ALONE!
God is God and cannot and will never accept a backup option when all else fails us as we are accustomed to acting in our pilgrimage here on earth.
We are looking at Perfect RED FLAGS in Perfect WORDS, WORKS, And WONDERS – Twelve (12) Foundational Lies in Churches and in and Amongst Leadership that needs to be discerned as RED FLAGS in the churches, prayed to be shaken Up and uprooted for Revival and Unity to manifest in the Churches and Leadership – Day 16 of 40
What are these twelve (12) RED FLAGS which are based on foundational lies and how do we pray to uproot them as intercessors in end time army?
Let’s look at them one after the order so that it can be easily discerned and addressed in the place of intercession:
These red flags are actually us bringing the ways the world operates into and mixing it with the ways God operates His kingdom and we end with rotten concussion of half truths. God will never lower His standard to accommodate our messed up version of Him in our gatherings.
Paul encourages us in Romans 12:1-2 as follows:
Romans 12:1-2
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
12 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
Let’s dive in to see the specifics so that you can be properly position to pray and root out these false foundations or lies out of your church gatherings. We are not saying leave. We are saying be the savior of that local assembly by becoming a skillful intercessor in your fellowship:
1)RED FLAG One (1) – Inordinate Competition!
Replace competition with kingdom minded collaboration, partnership, teamwork or cooperation
We see this fruit at play in our churches and amongst leadership when one pastor starts to comparing themselves with another pastor or when one member compares themselves with or to another member or when one church assembly constantly compare themselves with other churches and actively tries to outperform them. These are the ways and mindset of the world actively in and around us.
Read this: Romans 12:3-11
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
3 For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.
4 For as in one physical body we have many parts (organs, members) and all of these parts do not have the same function or use,
5 So we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another].
6 Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith;
7 [He whose gift is] practical service, let him give himself to serving; he who teaches, to his teaching;
8 He who exhorts (encourages), to his exhortation; he who contributes, let him do it in simplicity and liberality; he who gives aid and superintends, with zeal and singleness of mind; he who does acts of mercy, with genuine cheerfulness and joyful eagerness.
9 [Let your] love be sincere (a real thing); hate what is evil [loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness], but hold fast to that which is good.
10 Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family], giving precedence and showing honor to one another.
11 Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.
2)RED FLAG Two (2) – Making Spiritual Gifts god and leader of congregation
What do I mean by this? It is when people starting worship the gift of God in the lives of men and women of God in active service rather than the giver of the gift. It is when the man or woman of God in active service see their importance or value in the gift God has graciously given to them than the God who graciously bestowed on them. When the church identifies these gifts, they quickly make these immature members leaders of churches or department without any fruit of the spirit evident in their lives.
This attitude is also borrowed from the world. Just take a look at how the world glorifies talented people and make them role models. Be it musicians, actors, and the like.
We see this attribute in the children of Israel who built a calf and made it an idol for worship and requested that this calf will lead them into the promised land. Read the account here:
According to Exodus, they “gathered around Aaron and said to him: ‘Come, make gods for us, who shall go before us’” (Exodus 32:1). Rather than remaining steadfast in his faith, Aaron gave in. He ordered the people to collect all the gold in their possession, and used it to create a golden calf for worship
We can read further account of how Jesus will treat this gifts on the last day that have no fruit of the spirit manifesting in their lives. The gifts could be prophecy, leadership, administrative, working miracles, healing, signs and wonders, tongues and interpretation of tongues, wisdom, knowledge, faith, discerning of spirits etc.
Lets here from Jesus in :
Matthew 7:15-23
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.
16 You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17 Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit.
18 A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration].
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?
23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].
3)RED FLAG THREE (3) – Comparing Importance and LEVELS of Spiritual Gifts with Other Spiritual Gifts and Levels – Exulting One Gift in Importance and level above the Other calling them spiritual Fathers, Teachers and the like
What do I mean by this? It is when a pastor, a leader runs down other spiritual gifts and exult their own gift or when a spiritual leader with a certain Spiritual gift compare themselves in levels of anointing than others. You here words like, “There are levels, we are not equal”
This is also a mindset brought in from the world.
Jesus said in, Matthew 23:8-12
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
8 But you are not to be called rabbi (teacher), for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers.
9 And do not call anyone [in the church] on earth father, for you have one Father, Who is in heaven.
10 And you must not be called masters (leaders), for you have one Master (Leader), the Christ.
11 He who is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 Whoever exalts himself [with haughtiness and empty pride] shall be humbled (brought low), and whoever humbles himself [whoever has a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly] shall be raised to honor.
In Gods house, there are no levels for we are all brethren. As per ranging spiritual gifts above others, read this
1 Corinthians 12:21-27
New International Version
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
4)RED FLAG Four (4) – Spiritual Leaders Become Interface between Members and God. Playing god in members lives.
What do I mean by this? It means when spiritual leaders tell members that for them to talk to God, they should inquire through them or when spiritual leaders hinder members from proceeding on a cause of action the Lord had ministered to them to embark on. Or they tell members, “I must hear from God for you”, and when this spiritual leader does not accept leading from other brothers and sisters in Church if God has ministered to them for the church. You here words like, “How can God bypass me and speak to you an ordinary member.” Or when members prefer to have their spiritual leaders converse with God for them than by themselves. Questions concerning marriage or business or travel are determined by the spiritual leaders.
The question I usually ask is, “Where or when on earth is the equipping going to take place?” or What if the spiritual leader leaves or God takes them away suddenly, what would happen to these spiritual pygmies who are stunted in their spiritual growth by a-know-it-all spiritual leaders?
This is also a practice brought in from the world. In world systems, you cannot boycott your departmental head and go to the leader of that organization.
These spiritual leaders are usurping the position of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the members.
I believe these spiritual leaders can come alongside their members in decision making until they can stand on their own and take decisions by themselves by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s see scriptural backing for this :
Romans 8:14-17
King James Version
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
The above scripture does not have any room for a spiritual guide as we do in most of our setting today. Some members have made their pastors, Abba Father. This should never be found in Gods house.
Lets read this:
1 Timothy 2:1-6
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
2 First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,
2 For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
3 For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,
4 Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth.
5 For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 Who gave Himself as a ransom for all [people, a fact that was] attested to at the right and proper time.
From the above scripture, we have one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ and He is the one who died for your sins and not your spiritual leaders. Let’s stop this nonsense in God’s house. Let’s equip people to engage God by themselves for this is a worthwhile investment with loads of payoffs.
5)RED FLAG FIVE (5) – Spiritual Leaders Accepting worship due God a sign of blind pride
This is something I see over and over again in the body of Christ. Where angels feared to tread, that is where spiritual leaders have position themselves collecting worship due God to themselves.
Some even have the temerity or audacity to say, “The worship I collect for God in public, I give to God in private”
Let’s look at scriptures to see how grievous this sin is by looking at examples of humility depicted by some very important men of God and angels:
Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Philippians 2:5-8 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
2 Corinthians 10:1 (Paul) I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!—
Genesis 18:27 (Abraham) Abraham answered and said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes…”
Genesis 41:16 (Joseph) Joseph answered Pharaoh, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.”
Exodus 3:11 (Moses) But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
Acts 20:35-36
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
35 In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive.
36 Having spoken thus, he knelt down with them all and prayed.
Acts 21:4-5
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
4 And having looked up the disciples there, we remained with them for seven days. Prompted by the [Holy] Spirit, they kept telling Paul not to set foot in Jerusalem.
5 But when our time there was ended, we left and proceeded on our journey; and all of them with their wives and children accompanied us on our way till we were outside the city. There we knelt down on the beach and prayed
Revelation 19:10 (KJV)
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Revelation 22:8-9
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he *said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God.”
Don’t ever give worship due God to any man
6)RED FLAG (6) – Praying death down the enemy
I see this practice over and over again in churches around the world. I draw my position from Christ or savior on this one as follows:
Meditate on these:
Luke 9:49-56
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
49 John said, Master, we saw a man driving out demons in Your name and we commanded him to stop it, for he does not follow along with us.
50 But Jesus told him, Do not forbid [such people]; for whoever is not against you is for you.
51 Now when the time was almost come for Jesus to be received up [to heaven], He steadfastly and determinedly set His face to go to Jerusalem.
52 And He sent messengers before Him; and they reached and entered a Samaritan village to make [things] ready for Him;
53 But [the people] would not welcome or receive or accept Him, because His face was [set as if He was] going to Jerusalem.
54 And when His disciples James and John observed this, they said, Lord, do You wish us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, even as Elijah did?
55 But He turned and rebuked and severely censured them. He said, You do not know of what sort of spirit you are,
56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them [from the penalty of eternal death]. And they journeyed on to another village.
And this
Matthew 5:43-48
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
43 You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy;
44 But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike].
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?
47 And if you greet only your brethren, what more than others are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles (the heathen) do that?
48 You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect.
And this Matthew 16:26 -For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his Soul?
7)RED FLAG Seven (7) – Restraining members from listening to other sermons from other churches or other spiritual leaders or worshiping outside their own church
I see this a lot too. Spiritual leaders are overly protective of members to the extend where the warn them not to listen to sermon from other gifts in the body of Christ and restrict them to their own content only.
What then happens is that the members are not equipped with the content from other gifts in the body of Christ which should lead us to unity of faith as depicted in Ephesians 4 as follows:
Ephesians 4:1-16
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
4 I therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the [divine] calling to which you have been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God’s service,
2 Living as becomes you] with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another.
3 Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace.
4 [There is] one body and one Spirit—just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you received—
5 [There is] one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of [us] all, Who is above all [Sovereign over all], pervading all and [living] in [us] all.
7 Yet grace (God’s unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and bounteous] gift.
8 Therefore it is said, When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive [He led a train of vanquished foes] and He bestowed gifts on men.
9 [But He ascended?] Now what can this, He ascended, mean but that He had previously descended from [the heights of] heaven into [the depths], the lower parts of the earth?
10 He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest).
11 And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.
12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church),
13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.
14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.
15 Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.
No one ministry or church organization can provide all that a member of the body of Christ needs to grow all-rounded in Christ Jesus.
8)RED FLAG EIGHT (8) – COERCING MEMBERS to GIVE Using Manipulative tactics to disposes members of their earnings and honoring the one that gives more to the detriment of other givers
The scripture says giving should be a willing endeavor. God or devil does not go against our will unless we allow them.
The scripture is full of willing offerings but we have made offering a money spinning venture that tend to drive people away from church
Let’s look at God’s mind concerning giving:
Mark 12:41-44
New International Version
The Widow’s Offering
41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
2nd Corinthians 9:7
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
This Corinthians verse is a great one that goes into the proper mindset you should have when giving. When people give reluctantly or simply because they are told to, it isn’t as powerful of an act as giving because you want to.
‘God loves a cheerful giver,’ the verse reads. So, when teaching on the importance of giving, make sure to address that when you’re giving — no matter the form it takes — your heart should be in it.
Matthew 6:2
“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.”
Sure, when a large corporation makes a giant donation to a good cause, they are doing a lot of good.
But, when they use it as a marketing tactic to promote their business and “announce it with trumpets”, the gesture is stripped of some of its goodness.
When you are being charitable, don’t make a big show of it and tell all your friends and neighbors. Instead, be discreet about it and know that simply helping someone or supporting a good cause is enough.
Matthew 6:3-4
“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
This verse from Matthew also ends with a powerful note, stating that when you give in secret, God will see what is done even when no one else has, and will reward you. Those that give will be welcomed into Heaven with open arms.
2nd Corinthians 8:12
“For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.”
Ultimately, giving financially is only one way of giving. For those who have money to be generous with, it is good for them to give. Fortunately, if you don’t have the money you can still give your time, your skilled labor, open your home, provide food, etc. Giving is good for you, so give from what you have when you are able.
9)RED FLAG NINE (9) – Restraining anything supernatural from the gatherings
I hear and have visited some places where leaders don’t want to teach anything spiritual, don’t want members to dream or see visions and don’t want members to be led by the Spirit of God. They strictly direct members to the bible.
Escape from Bondage
8 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son], 4 so that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power]. 5 For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose]. 6 Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever]; 7 the mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God’s law, since it cannot, 8 and those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God.
9 However, you are not [living] in the flesh [controlled by the sinful nature] but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God lives in you [directing and guiding you]. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him [and is not a child of God]. 10 If Christ lives in you, though your [natural] body is dead because of sin, your spirit is alive because of righteousness [which He provides]. 11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
12 So then, [a]brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the] flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]— 13 for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. 14 For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “[b]Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God.
And this one
12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.
13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
There are many things the Holy Spirit in us us leading us today that we can never find replica in scripture.
Joseph, the father of Jesus in a dream was told to head to Egipt because Herod wanted the baby Jesus dead. You can imagine Joseph upon receiving this scripture runs to the Torah to find answers, want do you think would have happened to Jesus? Or Joseph dream or Paul’s dream to head to Macedonia?
We need to get our doctrine strengthened out!
10) RED FLAG TEN (10) – Once saved forever saved mantra
This doctrine is quite prevalent in our day and age. This doctrine have made many members to shipwreck of their faith.
The quickest way to knock down this doctrine to listen to the word very carefully as follows:
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.
A Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them [as false prophets].
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’
The Two Foundations
24 “So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.”
Parable of the Marriage Feast
22 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, 2 “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. 3 And he sent his servants to call those who had [previously] been invited to the wedding feast, but they refused to come. 4 Then he sent out some other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Look, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened calves are butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.”’ 5 But they paid no attention [they disregarded the invitation, treating it with contempt] and went away, one to his farm, another to his business. 6 The rest [of the invited guests] seized his servants and mistreated them [insulting and humiliating them] and killed them. 7 The king was enraged [when he heard this], and sent his soldiers and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding [feast] is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 So go to the main highways that lead out of the city, and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ 10 Those servants went out into the streets and gathered together all the people they could find, both bad and good; so the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests [sitting at the banquet table].
11 “But when the king came in to see the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed [appropriately] in wedding clothes, 12 and he said, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wearing the wedding clothes [that were provided for you]?’ And the man was speechless and without excuse. 13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; in that place there will be weeping [over sorrow and pain] and grinding of teeth [over distress and anger].’ 14 For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.”
11) RED FLAG Eleven (11) – Just confess Jesus, no need for repentance, Jesus loves you anyway you come to Him
All through scripture, we see the prophets of old, Lord Jesus Christ Himself and the disciples call people to repentance before acceptance.
Lets look at scriptures:
2 Chronicles 7:14
and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Acts 3:19
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
2 Corinthians 7:10
For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
Acts 2:38
Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Mark 1:15
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
The key theme of Christianity and our work and walk with the Lord is repentance. We cannot love it away or hide it away. We have to daily come to the position of repentance before God.
12) RED FLAG Twelve (12) – If you don’t speak in tongues, you are immature
Speaking in tongue is not a mark of maturity. Lets look at scripture and nothing in here points to the fact that the person who speaks in tongues is mature. Speaking in tongues build us up in our most holy faith and empowers our prayers. See below
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Mark 16:17
“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues.”
1 Corinthians 14:2
For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 14:23
If, therefore, the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your minds?
Acts 19:6
And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying.
1 Corinthians 12:10
To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:11
All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
1 Corinthians 12:28
And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:30
Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
1 Corinthians 13:1
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:8
Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
1 Corinthians 14:1
Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
1 Corinthians 14:13
Therefore, one who speaks in a tongue should pray for the power to interpret.
1 Corinthians 14:14
For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays but my mind is unfruitful.
1 Corinthians 14:18
I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.
1 Corinthians 14:19
Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.
1 Corinthians 14:22
Thus tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for believers.
1 Corinthians 14:27
If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret.
1 Corinthians 14:39
So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:4
The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church.
Acts 10:46
For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared.
Acts 11:15
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
Acts 2:11
Both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians—we hear them telling in our own tongues the mighty works of God.
Acts 2:3
And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
Acts 2:6
And at this sound the multitude came together, and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language.
Acts 2:8
And how is it that we hear, each of us in his own native language?
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.
Isaiah 28:11
For by people of strange lips and with a foreign tongue the Lord will speak to this people.
Jude 1:20
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
PRAYERs to UPROOT FOUNDATIONAL LIES
How do we then pray to counter and uproot these wrong foundations?
Here we go.
A)Identify and pencil down the RED FLAGS in your fellowship
B)Study and meditate on scripture that points to the right foundation to counter the lies
C)Using the scriptures as bases for warfare, begin to pray as follows:
Father, I present our fellowship, gatherings, leadership, or members before your throne of mercy today as I present and represent this (these) foundational lies in our gathering as Your presentative here on earth.
These are the foundational lies I have identified as follows: Name them or pencil them here
Father, by the authority in the name of Your Son Yeshuah, who said, in Matthew 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father planted not, shall be rooted up.
I stand in agreement with the above word that every plant in our assembly (name them) that You have no planted, I uproot them now by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ.
In their place, I plant plants that are rooted upon the foundation of Your truth according to scriptures in the name of Jesus Christ. Be established from this day forward in Jesus name, amen.
Continue daily until you have your peace and you begin to see and experience fruit manifesting in your gathering or fellowship in Jesus name, Amen
I hope todays title, “Title: Annual Forty (40) Days Prayer and Fasting for Church and Leadership on Unity and Revival – Week 3 of 6 – Pray and uproot RED FLAGS: Twelve (12) Foundational Lies for violent shaking in Churches and leadership – Week 3 of 6 – Thursday 31st of March to Wednesday 6th of April 2022 + War 2022 Update – Russia and Ukraine and your positioning”
