As we continue in prayer for these two continents, I want you to consider the following scriptures for reading, meditating and contemplating for application in these 3 areas
*1) We wrestle not*
Ephesians 6:12
King James Version
*12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.*
*2) Weapons of our warfare.. casting down imaginations and every high thing..*
2 Corinthians 10:3-6
Good News Translation
*3 It is true that we live in the world, but we do not fight from worldly motives. 4 The weapons we use in our fight are not the world’s weapons but God’s powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; 5 we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ. 6 And after you have proved your complete loyalty, we will be ready to punish any act of disloyalty.*
*3) With man this is impossible*
Matthew 19:26
New International Version
*26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”*
Genesis 18:14
Amplified Bible
*14 Is anything too difficult or too wonderful for the [a]Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.”*
Jeremiah 32:27
Amplified Bible
*27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?”*
With these scriptures in focus..begin to ask God to stir the hearts of leaders towards Him, to be receptive, and to be willing to obey divine plans and instructions for homes, educational institutions, government, business, arts and culture, Media and Entertainment, spirituality and religion
Pray for spiritual revival across both continents, healing for communities facing hardship, peace in conflict zones, protection for vulnerable populations, and the spread of the Gospel in unreached areas, particularly focusing on indigenous communities in Oceania and diverse regions within Africa;
Remember to intercede for leaders, healthcare systems, and the environment in both regions as well.
*Specific prayer points could include:*
*Africa:*
Pray for an end to poverty, famine, and disease in various African nations.
Intercede for peace in regions experiencing conflict like the Sahel and the Horn of Africa.
Ask for God to raise up strong Christian leaders and empower the Church to be a beacon of hope.
Pray for protection for vulnerable communities, especially women and children.
*Oceania:*
Pray for healing and restoration for communities affected by natural disasters.
Ask God to address social issues like substance abuse and domestic violence in Pacific Island nations.
Pray for the preservation of indigenous cultures and languages.
Seek God’s guidance for church planting initiatives in remote areas.
*Important aspects to consider:*
*Personal reflection:*
Spend time reflecting on your own relationship with God and how you can better serve the needs of Africa and Oceania.
*Unity in prayer:*
Consider joining with other believers in your community or online to collectively pray for these regions.
Shalom!
