Introduction & Prayer
Beloved intercessors, Africa’s destiny is crying out. The nations of the world exploit her, corrupt leaders plunder her, and her children flee in desperation—yet heaven still has a plan for Africa!
Jesus said: “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18)
Like the widow in Luke 18, who refused to stop knocking until justice came, we must persist in prayer until Africa’s story is rewritten.
Today, we focus on the 7 Mountains of Influence with real stories, heartfelt prayers, and declarations of faith.
️ 1. GOVERNMENT & LEADERSHIP
Story:
In one West African nation, a whole community hospital was built on paper but never existed in reality. Millions of dollars were released, contractors were paid, yet when you visit the site today, all you’ll find is bush and rusting signposts. Meanwhile, leaders fly abroad for medical checkups with money stolen from the very people they swore to protect. This is not isolated—across Africa, corruption sits at the table of governance while ordinary citizens suffer.
Prayer & Declaration:
Lord, arise and scatter every throne of wickedness. Let leaders who plunder be exposed and dethroned. Raise men and women like Joseph, Deborah, and Daniel who will govern with wisdom, justice, and the fear of God.

2. FAMILY & MARRIAGE
Story:
In conflict zones like Sudan and the Sahel, children roam the streets with no father, no mother, no home. Some are forced into child-soldier armies, others into begging rings. In the cities, marriages break under the weight of poverty—men migrating for work and never returning, women bearing burdens alone. Families, the backbone of society, are being dismantled by war, immorality, and economic hardship.
Prayer & Declaration:
Father, heal the families of Africa. Let every wandering child be restored to love. Strengthen marriages under pressure. Break cycles of abandonment and generational curses. Rebuild family altars of prayer and holiness.

⛪ 3. CHURCH & SPIRITUAL LIFE
Story:
In villages across West and Central Africa, juju shrines still receive sacrifices of goats, chickens, and even children. In cities, false prophets exploit widows, selling “anointed oil” for fortunes while the poor starve. Millions are still trapped in Islam, animism, or modern cults—longing for truth but deceived by darkness. Meanwhile, the Church itself often fights over doctrine instead of uniting to shine.
Prayer & Declaration:
Lord, visit Africa with genuine revival. Break the grip of witchcraft and idolatry. Save those in false religions through encounters with Christ like Saul of Tarsus. Unite Your Church beyond tribe and denomination. Let Africa truly become the Lord’s house of prayer.

4. EDUCATION & ACADEMIA
Story:
In one East African village, children sit under mango trees to learn, writing letters with sticks in the sand. Meanwhile, their government sponsors hundreds of students to study abroad—only for many to remain overseas and build foreign economies. In universities, brilliant African students design innovations but lack labs, equipment, or funding to bring ideas to life. Education, instead of being the key to freedom, has become a highway for brain drain.
Prayer & Declaration:
Father, heal Africa’s broken education system. Provide classrooms, books, and resources. Inspire a new generation of African reformers who return home to rebuild. Let wisdom, knowledge, and godly values transform the minds of our youth.

5. ECONOMY, BUSINESS & AGRICULTURE
Story:
Every day, massive ships leave African ports loaded with oil, gold, diamonds, and cocoa. But when those same ships return, they carry second-hand clothes, expired drugs, and toxic waste. Farmers who grow cocoa in Côte d’Ivoire cannot even afford to taste chocolate. Nations are tied to debt repayments so heavy that hospitals cannot buy medicine and schools cannot pay teachers. This is not trade—it is economic enslavement dressed as partnership.
Prayer & Declaration:
Lord, deliver Africa from exploitative trade and debt slavery. Bless her farmlands, businesses, and industries. Raise leaders who protect Africa’s wealth for her people. Let innovation and integrity flourish.

6. MEDIA & COMMUNICATION
Story:
Across Africa, satellite channels beam pornography, superstition, and foreign ideologies into homes day and night. In Nigeria, a teenager took his own life after copying a stunt from TikTok. In Kenya, politicians buy airtime to spread lies that ignite ethnic hatred. Truth is drowned by noise, while young people are discipled more by screens than by Scripture.
Prayer & Declaration:
Father, redeem Africa’s airwaves. Silence the voice of deception. Raise journalists, filmmakers, and influencers who carry truth, hope, and light. Let the story of Africa be told with dignity and honor.

7. ARTS, CULTURE & ENTERTAINMENT
Story:
Africa’s music dominates the world, but many songs glorify immorality, drugs, and violence. Films often portray witchcraft and corruption as normal. Meanwhile, our rich cultural heritage—songs of freedom, dances of praise, proverbs of wisdom—are forgotten. Arts that should heal and uplift now wound the soul.
Prayer & Declaration:
Lord, sanctify Africa’s creativity. Let our art, music, and culture glorify You. Raise songwriters and filmmakers whose work will disciple nations in righteousness. Restore Africa’s identity and dignity in global culture.
