TITLE: Unity and Revival In The Churches – God’s Mantles, God’s Anointing, Dialoguing with God and Their Significance To You – The Redeemed Child Of God – Day 1 of 40 – Jos Plateau, The Spiritual Headquarters of Nigeria
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
For the next 40 days, as we begin the spiritual tour across the entire territory of Nigeria, we will highlight some of the significant assignment or position of certain cities to make your intercession more from the position of understanding so that answers can come with the kind of speed that light travels and also to let you know where we are located and give you closure of the things we are seeing, hearing, receiving and the instructions for their correction in the place of prayer as we purge self of self.
The Lord has asked us to focus and develop ages 10 to 35, in segments of 10 to 18; 19-24 and 25 to 35. That does not mean our content will be irrelevant to other age groups but this is now our CORE focus area and their leaders. There is wisdom in that! So, do us a favour and start sharing this content and subsequent contents to this age group and others who lead these groups in any age bracket in Jesus name.
Before I talk about Jos, in the light of Unity and Revival in the churches, I would like to talk about Mantles, anointing, dialoguing with God and their significance to you.
We will provide answers to the following questions in this article in day 1 of 40 of the nationwide spiritual tour:
What are God’s mantles?
What is the anointing? Do I have it?
How do I dialogue with God?
What is the significance of Jos Plateau on the spiritual landscape?
Then we will round up with: MEDITATION – It engages the soul than memorization can’t., commentaries, questions to answer and action steps to take.
Christianity as we have it today:
Christianity is more than reading the bible, for the scriptures give us direction to Him, but the bible is not Him. Heading a church as a pastor, a teacher, an apostle, a prophet, a deacon or deaconese , being in any kind of leadership and attending church activities regularly – Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday and the like are great but that is not the core. Christianity is a relationship with a person – a fellowship with a person – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It is a personal, individual one-on-one relationship with the Godhead.
Some of the things I am going to be writing will put a lot of you on the edge of your seats. It is great to stay on the edge if you take action to go a notch higher in your spiritual walk and work with the master.
All the offices – the fivefold, have a major responsibility to equip the saints and point the saints to our Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ by the powerful walking of the Holy Spirit resident in us so that we can all mirror the Godhead in our lives to a mature saint, united in love. Through the Holy Spirit, they all have fellowship with us individually and collectively.
I am saying this or writing this to you all because persecution, the likes of which Christians have never seen in a very, very long time is already at the door knocking – Matthew 24:12. It will start out from America and spread like wildfire across the globe. It will come slowly but surely. Don’t kid yourself because we can’t have Christianity the way it is currently constituted anymore. This is time to dig a personal deeper root in God and share with others what you have found out about Him in the secret place. Only the true disciples will make it through the coming persecution. A disciple is not someone who follows pastors, prophets, teachers, churches, papas and mamas in the Lord, although that is good because they are responsible for pointing you to God. If that is not happening, then you have permission to run! A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ. The sheep will hear Jesus’s voice and recognize Jesus voice and they will not hear or obey the voice of an alien – John 10:27 paraphrased.
How do I dialogue with God?
The fact of the matter is that when you got born again, your spirit became renewed to have unfettered access to the throne room. Not through third parties but from your spirit to His spirit by His Holy Spirit given to you – All true Christians have this spirit to spirit connection with our heavenly Father, like it was before Adam and Eve sinned. Unbelievers, who have not confessed Christ don’t have this. It is a sorry state. Jesus said, “ I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.” This is why we have to bring them in also. You need to understand that. If you are an evangelist, your responsibility is to equip the saints to bring in souls. You can’t be an evangelist and every church activity is taking in from teachers and pastors and you are not going out to witness. That is a dead sea syndrome. If your pastor is not facilitating the equipping of evangelists. Go find an evangelist and let them impact you. When you are impacted, reach out for souls and you begin to equip other saints to do the same. The same goes for a prophet, a teacher, a pastor, an apostle (the sent one with a special message).
God is going to ask me and you what we did with the mantle of service He gave us when we became born again. We cannot blame others for our failure. It is self-accountability and responsibility.
The spirit to spirit connection is solid but the spirit to the mind connection is where we have issues. The mind needs to be renewed. It is a dying process. Our minds rather joined to our Spirit are joined to our bodies. How do we do that? We thing and reason more about the things of this life. Money issues, sickness, death, anger, quarrel bitterness.. Check out Galatians 5:16-26
These things weaken the spirit to soul or mind connection. We need that connection to be rock solid so that we can quickly pick up the messages our spirit is picking up from the Holy Spirit of God.
Everything around us has a voice. The voice of ourselves through the body-soul connection, the voice of the surroundings or the devil and the voice of the Holy Spirit being impacted on our spirit. The segment will give attention to winning the competition. Fasting, solitude silences to a great degree our body soul connection voices and amplifies the soul – spirit connection. And so, we are led by the Spirit of God that way. If you can’t hear God these last days, you are dead meat. Do all you can, ask Him to restore your soul. I am restoring your soul, all those dirt that have gained residence in your subconscious mind have to go.
There is nothing that blocks us off from our spiritual connection than anger, bitterness and malice. That is enemy number one for Christians. Ask the Holy Spirit to x-ray your subconscious mind, remind you of things that have held you bound without your knowing and repent and return to wholeness. These things affect healing, deliverance and restoration. Don’t even bother talking to God when you are angry against someone, bitter and unforgiving.. It is a major pollutant of the soul. You will get polluted messages from the soulish realm or from Satan because those are negative energies that attract Satan to us. He comes with all his dirty dozen…sickness, disease, sleeplessness, cancer, blood pressure and they like. Because every healing, deliverance and restoration flow through the mind to influence the body, so that the body can be restored.
We pray for no one except they deal with unforgiveness. That kind of prayer will not work and if it works, it will not last. God cannot lower His standard to accommodate our flaws. He has forgiven us without conditions. We must forgive others without conditions
Lord, restore our minds. Cause us to have the mind of Christ in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
What are God’s mantles?
2 Kings 2:13-14
He also took up the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and returned and stood by the bank of the Jordan. He took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and struck the waters and said, “Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the waters, they were divided here and there; and Elisha crossed over.
The mantle is the official garment, or rope of a prophet or all the other offices that God has apportioned to His body of believers. They are also spiritual first before they are in ropes. Some people manifest their mantle without wearing any rope. We all have mantles as Christians at the new birth, it is just not recognized and developed. This can be recognized and developed in prayer, in fasting and in obedience.
Some people have more than one mantle and God allows these depending on the assignment at a given time. I have operated Evangelistic, Apostolic, teaching, pastoral and prophetic from time to time, depending on the need as the Spirit of God stirs this. You can know your mantle but it must be exercised through obedience.

So, the mantle serves as a symbolic purpose, showing that you and I are wrapped in God’s authority for a specific assignment in the kingdom of God.
So, what is your mantle redeemed child of God? Stop playing ignorance! You have got at least and start developing it. If you don’t know, get into prayer, fasting, obedience and seek Him until you find your specific mantle. Don’t sit down on it like the dead sea but put it to profitable actions for the kingdom.
If prayer is the capsule containing our request to God, then fasting is the booster rocket that lifts our prayer into the heavenlies. The prayers take on a supernatural power that few on earth have ever seen.
What is the anointing? Do I have it?
1 John 2:26-28
Amplified Bible
26 These things I have written to you with reference to those who are trying to deceive you [seducing you and leading you away from the truth and sound doctrine]. 27 As for you, the anointing [the special gift, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, [a]you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].
28 Now, little children (believers, dear ones), remain in Him [with unwavering faith], so that when He appears [at His return], we may have [perfect] confidence and not be ashamed and shrink away from Him at His coming.
The Anointing is the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. It enables the believer to understand, apply, and administer spiritual truth. Simply put, the presence of The Anointing enables believers to have a spiritual connection. The Holy Spirit indwells us and allows us to connect to the spiritual realm so that we can receive and understand spiritual data as it is transferred from heaven to earth. The spiritual receptivity that comes as a result of The Anointing allows us to maintain fellowship with God because of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The Anointing allows us to discern truth from error. It is a detector that allows us to know right from wrong. The book of 1 John was addressed to Christians in danger of being susceptible to wrong information from false teachers. John wanted believers to know that they had The Anointing because of the presence of the Holy Spirit. While The Anointing may not be fully operating or fully utilized, he wanted believers to understand that they still possessed The Anointing provided by the Spirit of God. The presence of the Holy Spirit cancels the need for adopting a secular, non-Christian worldview that leaves God out as the beginning of all wisdom. The Anointing gives us everything we need to progress through life and gives access to God’s divine wisdom. Wisdom starts with the fear of God. The presence of the Holy Spirit is the always-on-and-available connection to God that we need for living. The Anointing also equips us for Christian service because it enables us to minster to others. Just like prophets, priests and kings were anointed in the Old Testament to serve God’s purposes in history, the anointing provided by the Holy Spirit gives believers the ability to do what we were created to do for His glory.
The Anointing requires intimate fellowship with God through the practice of abiding. In order to pick up the signals available in the spiritual realm, you’ve got to be close in contact with God. Walking in the fullness of what The Anointing provides also requires conformity to the truth. What you hear, you must obey. If the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, He will not operate in an environment where there is no truth at work. If you are operating in a lie – worldly wisdom that does not agree with God’s truth – then The Anointing won’t kick in for you. Enjoying the fullness of the Spirit’s anointing also requires living in love. In other words, you cannot be against your brother illegitimately and be hurting the body of Christ, and expect to fully experience God.
What is the significance of Jos Plateau on the spiritual landscape?
Jos, Plateau is the spiritual headquarters of Nigeria. As any man or woman of God, God is using mightily in Nigeria and around the world. They have been schooled in the hard soul of Jos, plateau. Name them, Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Paul Enenche, Late TB Joshua and a host of others. Most of the Christian organizations have their headquarters here. Now reduced as a result of the crisis on the plateau. If we discern this as so, then we can determine the spiritual atmosphere of the entire country of Nigeria. But we must get spirit of religion, human tradition and disunity out of the way. Then we can proclaim and it will happen. If we don’t, we will be trampled underfoot by those God has sent us to, to disciple.

Acts 1:9-11

9 And when He had said this, even as they were looking [at Him], He was caught up, and a cloud received and carried Him away out of their sight.
10 And while they were gazing intently into heaven as He went, behold, two men [dressed] in white robes suddenly stood beside them,
11 Who said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into heaven? This same Jesus, Who was caught away and lifted up from among you into heaven, will return in [just] the same way in which you saw Him go into heaven.
Commentary:
For centuries, the church has been standing on that mount pf Olivet, as it were, gazing up into heaven, expecting Jesus to do from heaven what He has empowered us to do through the Holy Spirit on the earth as ambassadors.
The magnitude of God’s move in our generation demands that we step down from the mount of spiritual analysis, take up the mantle of anointing and power Jesus gave us, and begin to obey ALL His commands.
Questions for you today are these:
1) Have you had a spiritual paralysis?
2) Do you have it today?
3) How can you take up your mantle of anointing?
Action:
1) Get down on your knees and ask the Lord to release you from any paralysis you currently bear.
2) Ask Him to help you tell the mantle he has prepared just for you.
Whoever has ears, hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches in Jesus name, Amen
