you can follow the link below

Friends, if you listen to messages from various Christian channels and you give attention to them, you will hear that you should have faith in God and that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God but you hear and keep hearing by the word of God and faith does not seem to rise up within you. You are told to read and meditate on the word but they rarely tell you how to practically work it out with God and apply to real-life situations and circumstances so you can put the rubber to the road and hit the accelerator running.

You will agree with me that with COVID-19 pandemic, everything around us is now shaking so that what cannot be shaken can remain. There is near-total paralysis of those chaffs we hold so dear to heart. Fear is rampant everywhere! The key message for me and for you I am hearing from the Spirit is that when all is said and done, it does not matter who is shaking it or what is shaking it, what matters is the foundation upon which our house (This temple of God in us) stands with the creator of the heavens and the earth and how we respond to the clarion call of service for His glory in these times and seasons in our very short pilgrimage journey here on earth read – Psalm 39:8-13.

And on Spiritual foundation, read Matthew 7:24-27 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

24 So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a [a]sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock.25 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand.27 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great and complete was the fall of it.

Also, God does not change but His methods change constantly and He has the whole world in the palm of His hand to allow according to His sovereign will as situations demands – Read Haggai 2:4-8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Yet now be strong, alert, and courageous, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; be strong, alert, and courageous, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, alert, and courageous, all you people of the land, says the Lord, and work! For I am with you, says the Lord of hosts.According to the promise that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit stands and abides in the midst of you; fear not.For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the [ starry ] heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations and the [a]desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts.

It is critically important that we fear not because Fear is a spirit and it torments just as Faith is a Spirit. What our minds focus on becomes our instant reality because the mind, which is the battlefield of our whole life journey is a selective mechanism and what we focus on, we take action towards – we become!

Fear not and other varients of it is one of the most repeated commands in the bible. We have included the list at the bottom of this post for you to constantly focus on by meditating on them and walking in them

In seeing fear as a spirit and faith, power and love as a Spirit, Paul wrote to Timothy in  2 Timothy 1:7 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Coupled with the need to possess the spirit of power, love and sound mind, we must also fight the good fight of faith as Paul admonished Timothy again in 1 Timothy 6:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

So, what is our fear if the greater one dwells in us?

Read  Johns account in 1 John 4:4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

4 Little children, you are of God [ you belong to Him ] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

So , in today’s School of the Holy Spirit – Part 7: Faith is a Spirit and fear is a spirit – Get 7 Time Tested Practical Activation Steps You Can Use in Elevating Spirit of Faith to Fight and Knock-out the spiritual vibration of the spirit of fear in and around you! + Included 365 “Fear Not” Scriptures!

Today, we will get you activated as you follow the guideline or template provided in this post.

So, let us begin

God has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness .. read 2 Peter 1:3 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [[a]full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

There is some meat in that scripture above, meditate over those words above while we bring you the 7 Practical activations you can use to elevate your Spirit of faith as follows:

1)    We need to activate divine power for service just as He told the early disciples to wait until they receive power Acts: 1:4-8 ; Luke 11:9-13; Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:14-40

2)    We need to activate true spiritual thanksgiving and worship using our spiritual prayer language in the secret place John 4:23-24; Revelation 4:8-11; Jude 1:17-20; 1 Corinthians 14:14-19

3)    We need to activate true love – by Accepting His love, Loving Him, loving ourselves and loving others.  John 3:16;  1 John 4:4-21, Jude 1:21; 1 Corinthians 13:1-13; Luke 10:27

4)    We need to activate true spiritual meditation that focuses on Him and not on us Isaiah 26:3; Joshua 1:8; Matthew 6:6; Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:8 ; Psalm 1:2; Psalm 16:8

5)    We need to activate true heartfelt prayer and fasting that raises our spiritual alertness Matthew 26:41; Romans 8:14-17; Galatians 5:17; James 4:1

6)    We need to activate true vision of what His grand plan is – His kingdom, not ours, what part we are to play and begin running with it and being sensitive to know and hear what He is saying right now  Matthew 6:10; Revelation (2:7; 22:2,14,19); Philippians 2:5-11; 2 Timothy 2:15; Proverbs 29:18; 2 Timothy 2:3-5

7)    We need to activate true rest in humility understanding that it has nothing to do with us but has everything to do with Him. He created us for His pleasure Matthew 11:28-30; Hebrews 4:1-11; Philippians 2:5-11; Luke 12:6-7; James 4:6-7; 1 Peter 5:5-6

So let’s go to activation prayers for each with the bible scriptures.

1)    We need to activate divine power for service just as He told the early disciples to wait until they receive power Acts: 1:4-8 ; Luke 11:9-13; Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:14-40

Meditate on this scripture before we begin

Acts 1:4-8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

And while being in their company and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak. For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with ([a]placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit. So when they were assembled, they asked Him, Lord, is this the time when You will reestablish the kingdom and restore it to Israel? He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with and know [b]what time brings [the things and events of the time and their definite periods] or fixed [c]years and seasons (their critical niche in time), which the Father has appointed (fixed and reserved) by His own choice and authority and personal power. But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Luke 11:9-13 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

So I say to you, Ask and [a]keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and [b]keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and [c]keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you.10 For everyone who asks and [d]keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and [e]keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and [f]keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened.11 What father among you, if his son asks for [g]a loaf of bread, will give him a stone; or if he asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent?12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?13 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts [gifts [h]that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and [i]continue to ask Him!

Activation prayers:

Father, I thank You for who You are and sending Your Son to die for me so that I can have access to You now and all through eternity. Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit which You promised to Joel 2: 28-32 and fulfilled in Acts 2:14-40

Heavenly Father, at this moment I come to You. I thank You that Jesus saved me. I pray that the Holy Spirit might come upon me. Lord Jesus, baptize me now in the Holy Spirit. I receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit right now by faith in Your Word. May the anointing, the glory, and the power of God come upon me and into my life right now. May I be empowered for service from this day forward. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for baptizing me in Your Holy Spirit. Amen.”

You are now activated for more details follow the link https://www.otakada.org/weekly-motivational-stories-13-of-52/

2)    We need to activate true spiritual thanksgiving and worship using our spiritual prayer language in the secret place John 4:23-24; Revelation 4:8-11; Jude 1:17-20; 1 Corinthians 14:14-19

Let’s meditate on this word before the prayer of activation

Read John 4:23-24 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.

24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

In worshiping we need to engage our spirit and the spirit of God inside of us. We need to pray in such away that the mind will get out of the way to give room for true worship.  This can be done using our prayer language during personal devotion

Jude, the brother of Jesus gave a very vivid importance of praying in the Holy Spirit

Jude 17-20 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

17 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions which were made by the apostles (the special messengers) of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).18 They told you beforehand, In the last days (in the end time) there will be scoffers [who seek to gratify their own unholy desires], following after their own ungodly passions.19 It is these who are agitators setting up distinctions and causing divisions—merely sensual [creatures, carnal, worldly-minded people], devoid of the [Holy] Spirit and destitute of any higher spiritual life. 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [[a]make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;

Jude encourages us to pray in the Holy Spirit so we can build our most holy faith so that we can rise above fear anytime we feel fear or sense fear, we speak in tongues and our faith is built up

Activation prayer:

Jesus, I come to you now. I desire to receive the Holy Ghost. I want to be baptized in the spirit. I want to receive the gift of tongues, so today by faith, I receive the Holy Ghost. I receive the gift of tongues. Thank You Lord for this gift, to praise and thank You. Amen. Take a deep breath -receive the Holy Ghost! Let’s begin to pray. [Prays in tongues]

Now, having asked and received, begin to practice the power of the Spirit. An ideal place to begin is where the first apostles did, praising God in a new language. To do this, begin praising God out loud in whatever words come to you. Tell Him how much you love Him. Thank Him, worship Him, and yield your voice to Him. Now let Him give you new words of praise you never heard before. Praise Him with those words, too. You’ll find that this can be a very rewarding experience of communication with God that will build up your faith. Continue to pray to God each day in the language that the Holy Spirit has given you.

But this “prayer language” is just one of the gifts that God wants to give you through the baptism in His Spirit.

The gift rises up inside. You can turn this gift on and off as you will. This one goes on and off at will. If you decide to pray, you can pray straight away. Now it requires -the Bible says ‘they’ pray, ‘they’ spoke, so it’s no use waiting for God to make your mouth go. He won’t make your mouth work. You make your mouth work. You yield; you speak. You say well I feel a bit funny doing that. Just stop being uptight and in control. Just let go, and love on Him. I remember when I first started to pray in tongues, my mind was arguing saying you’re an educated man, and you’re babbling like an idiot, stop! And my spirit was saying YES! Oh joy! Glory. It was a different kind of joy. It’s a joy that bubbled up from inside, not joy you had to tank up and then you got a hangover. Let yourself be heard. let’s have a voice to speak out in the gift of tongues!

3)    We need to activate true love – by Accepting His love, Loving Him, loving ourselves and loving Others John 3:16;  1 John 4:4-21, Jude 1:21; 1 Corinthians 13:1-13

Everything about God, us and people rises and falls depending on our level of love. Everything we are and will do for God has to have love as the underlying motivation. Everything else is useless noise without love. God starts with love, continues by love and ends with love.

Meditate on the following Scriptures before activation:

John 3:16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

1 Corinthians 13:1-4,13 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

13 If I [can] speak in the tongues of men and even of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such [a]as is inspired by God’s love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

And if I have prophetic powers ([b]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God’s love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody).

Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or [c]in order that I may glory, but have not love (God’s love in me), I gain nothing.

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.)

13 And so faith, hope, love abide [faith—conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope—joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love—true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Luke 10:27 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

27 And he replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.

Activation prayers:

Father, I come to You today because You have loved me unconditionally. I thank You because of the outworking of Your love for me, You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ to die for me and right now is making intercession for us the saints.

Lord, I accept Your love wholeheartedly today. I also accept myself for how You have fashioned me because You said through David in Psalm 139:14 that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I accept this fact today that I am special in Your eyes. I now activate Your love in me fully to manifest to others in all totally, so that others who see me will see You in me. Thank You for doing this awesomely in me, through me and all around me today and always in Jesus name, amen

4)    We need to activate true spiritual meditation that focuses on Him and not on us Isaiah 26:3; Joshua 1:8; Matthew 6:6; Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:8; Psalm 1:2 ; Psalm 16:8

Whenever we take our focus off of God and unto ourselves, problem is not far away. God is guaranteed to keep everyone in perfect peace whose mind is focused on Him. On His word, on His kingdom and on His agenda. Then and only then everything else falls perfectly in place.

Isaiah 26:3 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

Psalm 16:8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Matthew 6:33 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

33 But seek ([a]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([b]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [c]taken together will be given you besides.

Activation Prayer:

Father God, Thank You for my life. Thank You for making me Your core focus. Who am I that You, the creator of the universe is mindful of? You asked me to make You first, to put my focus on You because You have led by example. I follow this example today and make You first in my life and from today, You become the focus of my attention, the center of my world and I will continue to meditate on You and all that pertains to You in total worship. Thank You for activating me through this prayer I have prayed and I shall begin to see this fruit manifest in me from this day and forevermore in Jesus name, amen.

5)    We need to activate true heartfelt prayer and fasting that raises our spiritual alertness Matthew 26:41; Romans 8:14-17; Galatians 5:17; James 4:1

If we care to admit, our wonderful flesh covert comfort. It dislikes every spiritual discipline. But it must be brought into subjection. The spirit has to be above the flesh for us to rise above the spirit of fear. When we pray and fast, our spirit comes alive. God’s Spirit is ignited within us. He becomes so real in us that fear will find no place to hide but to be swallowed up.

Matthew 26:41 – Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

41 All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Galatians 5:17 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

17 For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other continually withstanding and in conflict with each other, so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do.

Activation Prayer:

You flesh that covers my spirit man, You just a covering to help me navigate this earth.  In the name of Jesus Christ, I refuse to be led by my flesh. I accept to be led by the Spirit of God that is now united with my spirit. I command you from today to bow to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in me. I am no longer your slave. The Holy Spirit is now in charge of me – Spirit, Soul and Body. I begin today to feed my spirit instead of my flesh in the place of prayer and fasting and feeding hungrily on the word of God and what the Spirit of God is leading me to study, meditate on daily in Jesus name, Amen.

6)    We need to activate true vision of what His grand plan is – His kingdom, not ours, what part we are to play and begin running with it and being sensitive to know and hear what He is saying right now  Matthew 6:10; Matthew 20:27-28; Revelation (2:7; 22:2,14,19); 2 Timothy 2:15; Proverbs 29:18; 2 Timothy 2:3-5

What we are and what we do in this part of eternity, should have eternity in view. Keeping the consciousness of who we are, what we are supposed to be doing and where we will eventually end up is key. Where there is no vision, the people cast out restraint. We must be people of a defined destination, knowing who we are and what we should be doing is critically important so we don’t end up casualties because the world system can overwhelm us with distractions that could be our downfall. Let’s explore scriptures before activation

Proverbs 29:18

Complete Jewish Bible

18 Without a prophetic vision, the people throw off all restraint;
but he who keeps Torah is happy.

Revelation 2:7 -Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Matthew 6:10 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 20:27-28

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

27 And whoever desires to be first among you must be your slave—28 Just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [the price paid to set them free].

2 Timothy 2:3-5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Take [with me] your share of the hardships and suffering which you are called to endure as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of [civilian] life; his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him.And if anyone enters competitive games, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully (fairly, according to the rules laid down).

Philippians 2:5-11 King James Version (KJV)

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Activation Prayer:

In the name of Jesus Christ, i receive the mind of Christ. I chose today to be servant leader who knows what I am, what I need to be doing and where I am going. I refuse to be distracted by civilian affairs. I head towards the high calling of God for my life. I am serious minded about enforcing the kingdom mandate here on earth in Jesus name, Amen

It is ok to be tired once in a while. It is ok to be fearful once in a while. What is not ok is for this state to become a habit to the point where we become worried, complaining, can’t sleep at night for the worry and fear of the day or the future. This then points to a fundamental issue that needs to be addressed. There is no way, Our Father lives in us, Jesus Christ lives in us and the Holy Spirit lives in us and we have continuous symptoms of unrest in our spirit.  Jesus said the rest in gives us is not as the world gives. It is not dependent on external circumstances like the ravaging COVID-19 Coronavirus or any kind of trouble for that matter.  We must have a worst-case scenario – To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. The very hair of our heads are numbered by Him. So why the fear, why the worry, why the panic attacks, why the depression? We need activation of rest after meditating on this scripture

Matthew 11:28-30 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will [a]ease and relieve and [b]refresh [c]your souls.]29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ([d]relief and ease and refreshment and [e]recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, [f]good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.

Hebrews 4:1,16 Amplified Bible (AMP)

The Believer’s Rest

4 Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still remains and is freely offered today, let us fear, in case any one of you may seem to come short of reaching it or think he has come too late.

16 Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment

Luke 12:6-7 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Are not five sparrows sold for two [a]copper coins? Yet not one of them has [ever] been forgotten in the presence of God. Indeed the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are far more valuable than many sparrows.

James 4:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”Humility Cures WorldlinessTherefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Activation Prayer:

Our Father and our God, thank You for You are everything unto us. Your word says You resist the proud and give grace to the humble. I humble myself under You mighty hands today. I submit to Your Lordship over my life because You have my back. I refuse to come shut of the rest Jesus has died to give me. I enter and receive this rest today as I let go of every yoke and every burden that the enemy of my soul has laid on me and take on Yours and learn that I might truly rest indeed to the glory of Your name. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these.
