Title: Part 27 – Enough Is Enough to Captivity of Satan and Welcome to Freedom in Christ Jesus – Will Nigeria Collapse? If Not, Why Not? + Unity in Christ: Loving One Another, Despite Our Differences + Jesus’s prayer for unity

Dear friends, I welcome you to Part 27 of Enough is Enough to Captivity of Satan and welcome to Freedom in Christ Jesus.
If you missed the last message on this title, “Part 26 – Don’t Die Fifty (50) Deaths Before Your Time – Banish Fear of Death Forever! – My Encounters with Ritualist, Kidnappers and Armed Robbers to Build up your faith in Him
Now for today’s title, “Will Nigeria Collapse? If Not, Why Not?” + Unity in Christ: Loving One Another, Despite Our Differences + Jesus’s prayer for unity let’s dive in starting from the title on Nigeria because our freedom in Christ starts from loving and embracing people who don’t like us, don’t agree with what we stand for, don’t pray like we pray or don’t even like our skin color. Jesus says, love and not hate. For hatred of the kingdom of darkness.
I will like us to read Luke 9:46-56
In reading this text, Jesus will provide answers to the following questions:
- Who is the Greatest?
- Who belongs to us?
- Who should we save?
The answers will dovetail into our title today providing answers where necessary.
Here is the text:
Luke 9:46-56
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
46 But a controversy arose among them as to which of them might be the greatest [surpassing the others in excellence, worth, and authority].
47 But Jesus, as He perceived the thoughts of their hearts, took a little child and put him at His side
48 And told them, Whoever receives and accepts and welcomes this child in My name and for My sake receives and accepts and welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me so also receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least and lowliest among you all—he is [the one who is truly] great.
49 John said, Master, we saw a man driving out demons in Your name and we commanded him to stop it, for he does not follow along with us.
50 But Jesus told him, Do not forbid [such people]; for whoever is not against you is for you.
51 Now when the time was almost come for Jesus to be received up [to heaven], He steadfastly and determinedly set His face to go to Jerusalem.
52 And He sent messengers before Him; and they reached and entered a Samaritan village to make [things] ready for Him;
53 But [the people] would not welcome or receive or accept Him, because His face was [set as if He was] going to Jerusalem.
54 And when His disciples James and John observed this, they said, Lord, do You wish us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, [a]even as Elijah did?
55 But He turned and rebuked and severely censured them. [b]He said, You do not know of what sort of spirit you are,
56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them [c][from the penalty of eternal death]. And they journeyed on to another village.
So, what’s the point here? Who is the greatest, we tend to look at Nigeria from the authority in Abuja, but quite honestly, when God looks at the nation of Nigeria, God looks at the church, not the government, God does not see the government, it does not- Well, by extension, He sees the extension of Nigeria, as in the government, but really, He is looking up to his children, all across the nation to see the temperature, the love that He is to see how that is working. And if that doesn’t work, then we’ll reproduce after our kind. And when we reproduce after our kind what happens? we have people in government who are doing worse off than us in the church.
So, if you’re looking for a leader, if you’re a political leader, just look at our leaders in various churches all across the nation, are they engaging, do they talk to one another? Are they fellowshipping together? Looking at the three-day fast organized by CAN, that just ended for Nigeria on unity, there will be no fruit as long as the body of Christ have not come together to begin to engage with one another in love, Nigeria cannot be one. Here in the text, we see the requirement for fellowship was Jesus. Those who name the name of Jesus Christ. That is a prerequisite that Jesus gave in this verse. He says, first and foremost, who is the greatest one?
That is the biggest issue we have in the body of Christ today – Who has the most qualification? who is the most anointed, who is pulling more crowd? who has the biggest church? who has all kinds of things that does not amount to anything in Gods kingdom.
All this fleshy kind of attitude will not go well for a strong Nigeria, because Nigeria are the people and God starts from his own people to begin to determine the temperature in a nation. So, if Nigeria is going to stand strong, then the body of Christ needs to come together. They need to shelf whatever degrees that they’ve gotten in any theological school, they need to shelf whoever is their Papa and their Mama in the lord, they need to shelf all the religious dichotomies that creates division amongst the brethren.
You can see Churches that have ethnic dichotomies – Yoruba churches, Igbo Churches, Hausa churches and all of that. And also, you see a lot of division going on that these churches fight for land, churches are bidding for land and outbidding one another. Are we shocked of what is going on in Abuja? that should not be a surprise because we are reproducing after our kind. And by the time we begin to work together, things will begin to take the proper shape for our nation. You see, the spiritual controls the physical, and we who are spiritual need to maintain the spiritual temperature of our nation where we dwell. When we begin to take our place, and see where God intends us to see, our nation would change for the better.
So, when we begin to pray for the nation, what’s in our mind? are we speaking down ? That is condemnatory words? Or are we speaking the uplifting words? are we speaking life to our nation? are we speaking death to our nation? So, will Nigeria collapse? If not, why not? that’s dependent on you and me, the body of believers in Nigeria.
The other thing I want to talk about is that we’ve also forgotten our mandate. Our mandate is to reach those who do not know Christ. But what’s happening is that we’re now telling the earth to open up and destroy unbelievers. So, if all the unbelievers die, people who are an obstacle to us, in our carrying out the gospel forward, if we pray for them to die, when they all die, who are we going to witness to? Do we see a lot of pastor praying dangerous prayers for people to die, that is not the Spirit of Christ! That is the spirit of the Antichrist! that is the spirit that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy lives.
In fact, let me just bring it down a little bit for you. If there are two people standing and God or Jesus comes up to them and say, “I want to take one,” Jesus will take the believer and leave the unbeliever to stay on for a while so that this believer can give their life to Christ. Well, what are we doing? We are praying prayers to destroy the ones that God has sent to us to reach. If the church in the beginning prayed that kind of prayer towards Saul, who was instrumental in getting rid of Stephen, will there be a Paul who wrote more than 7 Epistle that we refer to so often today? So, I don’t know what’s wrong with all of us. Who has bewitched us? And we need to begin to change and prioritize what our mandate here in Nigeria is.
We are not of that spirit as Jesus said in Luke 9:54-55. He said you should draw close those who call on the name of Jesus Christ. That is a message for the body of Christ, that we need to begin to engage. We need to begin to cut across our denominational lines to begin to worship together. When we begin to do that, reaching out to other believers, Nigeria will not collapse.
Now prophecy has gone up concerning this nation that Nigeria will be the springboard for World evangelism. That is a word from the Lord. But how that word will be fulfilled is dependent on the free will concerning the matter- Our decision. We accept the prophecy and run with that prophecy. If we turn away from that prophecy, then we will have the devil’s prophecy for Nigeria. And if we dance to the tune of that prophecy from the evil one, that’s what’s going to come to pass.
We know God told Abraham that his seed was going to be more than he can imagine. Israel is just occupying a small part of a larger land that was promised them. So also for Nigeria, is going to be determined by the church, how Nigeria will stand is determined by the church, not by any other agitating group anywhere within Nigeria. As long as we’re fighting and tearing one another apart in the body of Christ, the land cannot stand!
If we continue to sue one another before unbelieving judges, Nigeria will collapse. Nigeria would get into trouble. But if we stand up and say, “Lord, what you are spoken concerning this nation, we choose to believe the one that you stand on, and we choose to repent, and begin to do the works that are in line with your counsel concerning this nation, because your counsel is about love.” But If we continue to fight one another, argue over non-essentials, then essentially, we’re going to have a collapse. I’m sorry to say, that’s what’s going to be, and God has given us the greatest gift and the greatest gift God has given us is the gift of free will.
He says, we should go out and evangelize the lost not to go and recycle members. Today, our churches are just recycling members. That is not evangelism. That is not church building. That is convenience, Christianity, when there’s little crisis, we are screaming, and shouting and all of that. But that is convenience Christianity. God does not sanction convenience Christianity. In fact, God brings out the best of us in the middle of the fire.
If you want peace in our nation, then begin to pray for the lost. don’t pray dangerous prayer for the earth to open up and swallow them, we should rather speak life. Ask Go to give them a new heart and bind the spirit operating through them. That is what we are permitted to do. Not to destroy human life but to save life. Speak life to our nation.
And so, I pray now in the name of Jesus Christ – I speak life to our churches, first and foremost, I pray for body of believers to love one another, united in love, that we will not begin to break up your body but engage with one another in Love. That the lost people will be drawn to us because we are one!
Thank you for Nigeria will not collapse because we the Christians will not allow it to happen. We speak life from today on to this nation. Father, we will key into your vision for this nation that Nigeria will be the springboard for World evangelism to the nations in the name of Jesus Christ and we will begin to work towards it in the mighty name of Jesus because faith without works is dead. Prophecy without work is dead. Thank you Lord for answers to our prayer.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed, AMen So, May the Lord bless you and keep you, cause His countenance to shine forth upon you, bring you peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. May He cause lines to begin to fall for you in pleasant places in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that you will reach out to your brothers and your sisters, not just in your church, but also across denominations when you begin to shake hands in fellowship together, we will begin to pray life to our nation, every minute, every second of the day, as we intercede for our nation, He shall stand for our sake, Nigeria shall not collapse in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
I have done the whole nationwide travel 7000 kilometers in 12 days calling for revival in 2010 when the Lord showed me that persecution was coming, and they were going to be a lot of destruction. God loves Nigeria. God has a plan for Nigeria. And so you key in, don’t join the enemy to destroy the nation. join the army of God to build a prosperous nation, a nation that would launch out people to the ends of the earth In Jesus name, amen. Amen.
Let’s look at simple ways we can express Unity in Christ: Loving One Another, Despite Our Differences
In a divisive age, it’s easy to get caught up in our many differences. From political beliefs to eating habits and even athletic affiliations, we argue a lot. With drama permeating our every interaction online and in the real world, we feel stressed and alone. But are we really as different as we think?
Unity in Christ
There’s no escaping our many differences. They’re broadcast to us daily in these trying times; even if we’re not watching arguments break out on cable news or social media, we’re voicing our disagreements with people from all walks of life. Sometimes, it feels like nobody has our back.
It’s tough to admit, but we tend to blow disagreements out of proportion. In reality, we hold much in common with our brothers and sisters in Christ. For example, we are all sinners. Sin is part of human nature, and no matter our efforts, we cannot entirely escape it.
Thankfully, we are also all united in the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Some of us may hold different beliefs in how, exactly, Christ’s atoning on the cross affects us today. Still, the fact that we’ve been saved should be cause enough for us to rejoice together.
This is far from the first time we’ve faced disharmony in the Church. Glance through your Bible and you’ll observe that this issue dates back thousands of years. In 1 Corinthians, Paul reminded Christians that all believers belong to Christ and that we all share a desire for salvation. We can certainly use this reminder today.
Appreciating Diversity While Honoring Our Common Need for Christ
Life would be boring if we all looked, thought, or behaved in the exact same manner. What’s more, carbon copies would make us vulnerable to illness and other issues.
Diversity can strengthen us, even when we view it as a problem. Yes, it can be difficult to handle diversity of thought, but viewed in a different light, it could actually reinforce our personal beliefs.
Struggling to appreciate diversity or recognize our similarities as humans? These simple steps may help:
Look for Signs of Grace — Not Evidence of Sin or Weakness
As a mere human, it’s not your job to judge indiscriminately. Think of the cliché about stones and glass houses. Instead of hunting for sins in those with whom you disagree, search for signs of grace. This may be difficult at first. In an increasingly negative culture, we naturally seek out fault. If necessary, begin small. For example, your so-called adversaries may demonstrate love for their family members or use polite phrases such as ‘please’ or ‘thank you.’ Recognize and appreciate these positive qualities.
Revisit Bible Verses about Loving One Another
The Bible is chock full of verses that command us to love one other, despite our differences. 1 Peter 1:22 states “Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.” Other verses worth reading include Hebrews 13:1 and John 15:12.
Be the First to Try for Reconciliation
Don’t wait for somebody else to make peace. If we all took a passive approach to developing unity as Christians, we’d never manage to gather as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Remember: You don’t have to agree with others in order to accept them. You may never arrive at a full understanding, but you can still appreciate that, as humans, you and your ‘adversary’ hold quite a bit in common.
Few Bible commands are more difficult — or more essential — to execute than “love one another.” It’s not an easy job when arguing is so much more satisfying. Ultimately, however, it’s more important to recognize our common need of a savior. Only then can we remove the log from our own eye to take care of the speck in our fellow Christians’ eyes.
Jesus prayer for unity in His body.
I conclude with this: – Jesus’ prayer for unity. If you read nothing, read this:-
John 17:9-23
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
9 I am praying for them. I am not praying (requesting) for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they belong to You.
10 All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.]
11 And [now] I am no more in the world, but these are [still] in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep in Your Name [[a]in the knowledge of Yourself] those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We [are one].
12 While I was with them, I kept and preserved them in Your Name [[b]in the knowledge and worship of You]. Those You have given Me I guarded and protected, and not one of them has perished or is lost except the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot—the one who is now doomed to destruction, destined to be lost], that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].
14 I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world.
15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
18 Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.
20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.
22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:
23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
SHORT PRAYER FOR SELF-DELIVERANCE.
“Lord Jesus Christ, I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. You redeemed me by Your blood and I belong to You, and I want to live for You. I confess all my sins-known and unknown- I’m sorry for them all. I renounce them all. I forgive all others as I want You to forgive me. Forgive me now and cleanse me with Your blood. I thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses me now from all sin. And I come to You now as my deliverer. You know my special needs-the thing that binds, that torments, that defiles; that evil spirit, that unclean spirit—I claim the promise of Your word, “Whosoever that calleth on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.” I call upon You now. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me and set me free. Satan, I renounce you and all your works. I lose myself from you, in the name of Jesus, and I command you to leave me right now in Jesus’ name. Amen!”
Let it come from your heart and see the salvation of the Lord!
