Philippians 2:1-5
The Passion Translation
Joined Together in Perfect Unity
2 Look at how much encouragement[a] you’ve found in your relationship with the Anointed One! You are filled to overflowing with his comforting love. You have experienced a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and have felt his tender affection and mercy.[b]
2 So I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together[c] with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.
3 Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. 4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. 5 And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation.
Prayer: Oh God, help us, Your body of believers, to immolate You in everywhere. Grant us grace, where You find willingness from the depth of our hearts to shun pride and cloth ourselves in humility with a selfless heart as we reach out to all the brethren shunning denominational affiliations, doctrines that finds its origin from the tradition of men so that we may embrace unity of heart and spirit, perfecting holiness in Jesus name, amen

Dear friends, we welcome again to our series on Enough is Enough to Captivity of Satan and Welcome to Freedom in Christ Jesus. Today, we bring you the title “But in this one thing we have all FAILED WOEFULLY and given Satan a foothold in our life’s journey, undermining our effectiveness as true Ambassadors of Christ on this Earthly Realm.
But This one thing is “offense” – Offense that finds its root in pride and powered by self-love to the detriment of God’s kind of love. This is where we believers falter on a permanent basis. This is the reason all the dirty dozen of the devil find its origin and get hauled on us as easy as the wind blows. This is where unanswered prayers concerning healing, deliverance and restoration originate from.

In our 7 attributes of waging a successful campaign against the realm of wickedness concerning enough is a enough to captivity of satan, which are A: Availability – Spirit, Soul and Body;
B: Boldness to exercise authority and power; C: Compassion to sit where people are hurting;
D: Determination to push through until victory; E: Earnest Love that is not based on the superficial; F: Fiery Anger with satan and
G: Great Hunger for the FULLNESS of GOD in us and around so we can touch the world for Him, this title today comes in as E: Earnest Love for God, For Self and Others
Jesus, in raising this particular offense issue addressed it in this manner in:
Luke 17:1-5
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
17 And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Temptations (snares, traps set to entice to sin) are sure to come, but woe to him by or through whom they come!
2 It would be more profitable for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were hurled into the sea than that he should cause to sin or be a snare to one of these little ones [[a]lowly in rank or influence].
3 [b]Pay attention and always be on your guard [looking out for one another]. If your brother sins (misses the mark), solemnly tell him so and reprove him, and if he repents (feels sorry for having sinned), forgive him.
4 And even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and turns to you seven times and says, I repent [I am sorry], you must forgive him (give up resentment and consider the offense as recalled and annulled).
5 The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith (that trust and confidence that spring from our belief in God).
The meat of the matter is in verses 3 and 4. The consequence is in verse 2. Please read it again.
Let me explain further. We are connected spiritually speaking– That is already established by our salvation. This aspect of being joined together is so strong that, spiritually speaking, when one person hurts, the others hurt as well. If there is any offense, it does not matter who is the offender, it pollutes the body, making the body less effective to carry out whatever it is the body as a whole is meant to accomplish.
Let me explain. If any member of RCCG is hurting or in any kind of offense with any other member of the body of Christ, say in Mountain of fire, this offense hinders the overall effectiveness of God’s work say in Porter’s house in Texas. That is how connected the body of Christ is. God does not see our paint up denominations. He sees Jesus Christ in every one of us.
Paul went further to clarify this issue of pride in Philippians 2: 1-15
I will make comment in-between the verses as follows in italics:
Philippians 2:1-16
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
2 So by whatever [appeal to you there is in our mutual dwelling in Christ, by whatever] strengthening and consoling and encouraging [our relationship] in Him [affords], by whatever persuasive [a]incentive there is in love, by whatever participation in the [Holy] Spirit [we share], and by whatever depth of affection and compassionate sympathy,
2 Fill up and complete my joy by living in harmony and being of the same mind and one in purpose, having the same love, being in full accord and of one harmonious mind and intention.
COMMENT:
Paul is appealing to harmony, oneness of mind, purpose, love, full accord and intentions. He says, that would complete his joy.
3 Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves].
4 Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.
COMMENTS:
Paul is saying there should not be factions or factional motives – Selfishness, contentions, fruitless ends, arrogance, pride but rather humility.
5 Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]
6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [[b]possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not [c]think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped [d]or retained,
7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and [e]rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.
8 And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!
COMMENTS:
Paul is telling us to have the humility that Christ had and demonstrated it by going to the cross for us. We must all go to the cross for one another. How? By showing the God kind of love, forgiving heart even when there is no sign of remorse, praying that they should have a change of heart. Remember, what Jesus said, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.”- Luke 23:34
9 Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has [f]freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,
10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee [g]should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 And every tongue [[h]frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
COMMENTS:
Paul is saying, because of this humility, because of the stooping, God lifted Jesus up and gave Him a place of honor and glory and principalities, powers are bowing down to Him. If satan and all his dirty dozen is not bowing – if sickness is not bowing, if there is no deliverance, if there is no restoration, then we need to x-ray our lives – Could there be an offense? The problem is not with God but in ourselves. We should ask the Holy Spirit, and if He shows anything, we should be humble enough as Gods obedient children to take obedient steps because it is the obedient that are Christ disciples.
12 Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, [i]with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).
13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while [j]effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and [k]delight.
14 Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [[l]against God] and [m]questioning and doubting [among yourselves],
15 That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world,
16 Holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose.
COMMENT:
Paul concludes that this salvation of ours must be worked out with fear and trembling. I did not hear Paul say, “confess out or belief out your salvation.” Paul says, “WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION with fear and trembling. With no complaining against God and doubting amongst ourselves. At the same time remain blameless before the wicked. He did not say before the righteous. Why is that? So that they will desire our so-called salvation. They wicked have to see our salvation as fruits in our lives before they can buy into our salvation. One of the ways is how we handle offense from them and from amongst our selves.
I conclude thus section by saying if we hold on to offense towards anyone, enough cannot be enough to satan’s captivity. Even if satan is asleep. Holding unto offense is captivity in of itself.
Today is Peace Day!
Reach out today and make peace with ALL, delivering yourself and others with whom there is an offense. You will do yourself the greatest good of freedom that only the principles of Christ can provide.
Remember this: Spiritual Authority for Greater Exploits begins to manifest when you and i begin to let go and let God with every giant of offense in your and my life. The greater healing, deliverance and restoration starts from within you – In your heart. When you stomach offense, Jesus cannot occupy that heart because light and darkness cannot stay together. This darkness is a high way entry point to the demonic activity in your and my life by our willful participation. The ministry of the demonic is to kill, still and destroy

Matthew 18:21-35

21 Then Peter came up to Him and said, Lord, how many times may my brother sin against me and I forgive him and [a]let it go? [As many as] up to seven times?
22 Jesus answered him, I tell you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven!
23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a human king who wished to settle accounts with his attendants.
24 When he began the accounting, one was brought to him who owed him 10,000 talents [probably about $10,000,000],
25 And because he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and his children and everything that he possessed, and payment to be made.
26 So the attendant fell on his knees, begging him, Have patience with me and I will pay you everything.
27 And his master’s heart was moved with compassion, and he released him and forgave him [cancelling] the debt.
28 But that same attendant, as he went out, found one of his fellow attendants who owed him a hundred denarii [about twenty dollars]; and he caught him by the throat and said, Pay what you owe!
29 So his fellow attendant fell down and begged him earnestly, Give me time, and I will pay you all!
30 But he was unwilling, and he went out and had him put in prison till he should pay the debt.
31 When his fellow attendants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed, and they went and told everything that had taken place to their master.
32 Then his master called him and said to him, You contemptible and wicked attendant! I forgave and cancelled all that [great] debt of yours because you begged me to.
33 And should you not have had pity and mercy on your fellow attendant, as I had pity and mercy on you?
34 And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (the jailers), till he should pay all that he owed.
35 So also My heavenly Father will deal with every one of you if you do not freely forgive your brother from your heart his offenses.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUP OF HATRED COST?

I never knew it was that expensive. I wanted to know the cost of HATRED, so I decided to branch a shop where it’s being sold.
As a good businessman who was looking for a buyer, the sales man rushed out to ask what I wanted.
I told him I wanted just a cup of hatred, then he smiled and asked if I could afford it?
”How much does a cup cost?” I asked?! Hmmmmm! He took in a deep breath, then started…
👉🏼 First, it will take away your inner peace.
👉🏼 It will cost you incurable worries.
👉🏼 It will eat up your heart.
👉🏼 You will be deeply bitter whenever you set your eyes on the person you hate.
👉🏼 When others are celebrating him or her, you will be looking for reasons he or she does not deserve it.
👉🏼 You will become so weak and tired of seeing the person.
👉🏼 Whenever he or she laughs, you cry.
👉🏼 While others are busy planning their future, you will be busy looking for how to pull him or her down.
👉🏼 The Spirit of God will leave you and you will become the temple of devils where demons reside.
👉🏼 You will begin to have different health issues like high blood pressure, diabetics, stroke, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, etc.
As long as you drink from the cup of hatred, bitterness, grudge, unforgiveness, malice, anger, jealousy, envy, resentment…. . Worse still, prayers or drugs cannot help much because you have disobeyed the natural and supernatural laws.
👉🏼 You will die before your time and go to hell.
The seller was still counting what a cup of hatred will cost me, when I shunned him, realizing how EXPENSIVE hatred is.
I left because I knew deep down I could not afford it.
I refused to pay such a huge amount when I can LOVE so easily and cheaply.
Beloved, don’t allow anybody take away your joy and sell or give you hatred.
Avoid gossip, bitterness, anger, etc. because a lot of times, it is what you hear about somebody that breeds hatred.
By the special Grace of God Almighty.. we all will not die before our time.

Short Prayer for Self-Deliverance.
“Lord Jesus Christ, I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. You redeemed me by Your blood and I belong to You, and I want to live for You. I confess all my sins-known and unknown- I’m sorry for them all. I renounce them all. I forgive all others as I want You to forgive me. Forgive me now and cleanse me with Your blood. I thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses me now from all sin. And I come to You now as my deliverer. You know my special needs-the thing that binds, that torments, that defiles; that evil spirit, that unclean spirit—I claim the promise of Your word, “Whosoever that calleth on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.” I call upon You now. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me and set me free. Satan, I renounce you and all your works. I loose myself from you, in the name of Jesus, and I command you to leave me right now in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

Thank you for souls that are being added to Your kingdom as a result of this message, the miracles that we are already seeing right now and manifesting for your glory in Jesus name, Amen. It is done!
