Dear brothers and sisters, this is a continuation of our series on the school of the Holy Spirit. Today, we bring you Part 5, series 16 of 52 – The Anatomy and Secrets of the Secret place with God + Activation of Secret place anointing with a first subseries – call 911 and keep it steady!

The Anatomy and Secrets of the secret place with God will run through several sub-series in the school of the Holy Spirit. This is the engine run that drives our Christian life. It comes before our fellowship with others. If we do not develop the habit of secret place relationship with our heavenly Father, we are giving to much away.
One of the best-kept secrets of our faith is the blessedness and joy of cultivating a secret life with God. In the secret place, the living word of God is laid open before you; Jesus Himself stands at your side; the Holy Spirit is gently washing your heart; your love is awakened as you meditate upon the gracious words of His mouth; your spirit is ignited and your mind is renewed; you talk to Him, and He talks to you in the language of intimate friendship.
As I read through church history up until early 1908, over 30 million Christians were martyred on record for their faith. These martyrs were able to face death without fear because they had an intimate relationship, powered by the living, breathing Holy Spirit in them – Acts 7:55
As we race towards the end, we are going to experience more disruptions to getting together in fellowship. Persecution of TRUE Christians will be intensified like never before – This is a guarantee and we can take this word to the bank. We must be ready! Readiness starts and ends with cultivating and sustaining our one – on – one, intimate relationship with Him in the secret place.
If I have any litmus test for any Christian at all, it is to ask them if they have a vibrant, secret place intimate relationship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (John 14:23). In fact, for a vibrant and successful fellowship with other believers to be attained and retained, individual members secret place relationship is a key to attaining that success – Take it or leave it.
Our local fellowship with our spouses, friends, family members, small groups, local assembles and larger assembles of believers should be a place where we empty-in what God is saying to us individually and collectively in the secret place to equip and edify the larger church of Jesus Christ to run the Christian race successfully with little or no casualties.
My security, your security and our security can be attained by calling 911 – Psalm 91 Verse 1 – He that dwells in the secret place of the must high and keeping it steady has all the attaining benefit outlined in verses 2 to the end of Psalm 91 – There are no shortcuts – It is a narrow path of consecration. No secret place, no sustained benefit of verses 2 to end. Jesus showed us this example in Mark 1:35 by ensuring He goes out alone, first thing in the morning, dialoguing with God the Father. Jesus told Martha that only one thing is needed – Learning and engaging the master at His fit in Luke 10:38-42.
The best place to watch and pray and get a beds eye view of trends, events and our own personal work and walk with Him is in the secret place – Not in the crowd. Too much noise in the crowed. – Mark 13:32-37.
I am absolutely convinced the power of heaven is unlocked on earth when we devote ourselves to the secret place of the Most-High.
Hell will do everything in its power to misrepresent and distort the exuberant delight of this dynamic reality; this present world system is strategically designed to squeeze out your time and energy for the secret place; the church usually focuses its best energies on getting saints busy; and there seem to be relatively few believers whose secret life with God is so vibrantly life-giving that it kindles a contagious desire in others to follow their example.
When we learn to dwell in the secret place of the Most-High, we are positioning ourselves to discover the key to true kingdom fruitfulness. Reproductive power is unlocked in the shadow of the Almighty!
Narrow is the gate that leads to life and only a few find it. On the narrow gate, you enter alone! – Not with the crowed – Matthew 7:13-14

Revelation 4:10-11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
10 The twenty-four elders ([a]the members of the heavenly Sanhedrin) fall prostrate before Him Who is sitting on the throne, and they worship Him Who lives forever and ever; and they throw down their crowns before the throne, crying out,
11 Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were [brought into being] and were created.
This is vitally important – You were created for worship.
- 2) Pray, Lord, cleanse me by Your blood: – Keep instrumental worship music playing in the background, keep external noise out or ensure silence. Example here
Since receiving divine revelation is at the heart of biblical meditation, you must prepare yourself to receive from the Holy Spirit by repenting and being cleansed by the Blood of the lamb. You must be obedient to previous revelations from God (Matt. 7:6) and confess any sin in your life, so you are not cut off from ongoing revelation ( Isa. 59:1-2; 1 John 1:9).
- 3) Lord, grant me teachable attitude: Instrumental Still on.
Revelation is given to those who maintain an attitude of humility, and it is withheld from the proud and the arrogant. So, keep an open humble attitude before God, allowing Him the freedom to shed greater light on any ideas you currently hold and alter them as He sees fit (James 4:6; 2 Pet. 1:19)
- 4) Lord, I will not use my faculties myself:
You can do nothing of your own initiative but only what you hear and see by the Spirit (John 5:19-20,30). You do not have a mind to use, but a mind to present to God so He can use it and fill it with anointed reason and divine vision (Prov. 3:5-7; Romans. 12:1-2). If you use your mind yourself, it is a dead work (Heb. 6:1-2)
- 5) Lord, I pray that the eyes of my heart might be enlightened – Hear logos and Rhema: Keep instrumental worship playing
Slow down as you read, mulling the text over and over in your heart and mind, praying constantly for God to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him based on scripture He has highlighted for you for that moment., sense Rhema from the logos ( Eph. 1:17-18; Psalm 119:18) Rhema is the specific word, for a specific person ( You or others) or persons and for a specific purpose
- 6) Lord, I present the abilities to reason and to imagine to you to fill and flow through Your Spirit: Keep instrumental worship playing or be still or use anything that works for us without distraction
Meditation involves presenting your faculties to God for Him to fill and use. These include your left-brain reasoning capacities as well as your right-brain visual capacities.
Look for the river of God (i.e., “Spirit flow”) to guide and fill both hemispheres, granting you anointed reasoning and dreams and vision) John 7:37-39). Music can assist you, as can muttering, speaking in inspired tongues, and writing as you go through the discovery process ( 2 Kings 3:15)
- 7) Lord, show me the solution to the problem I am facing: Keep status quo
Focused attention brings additional energies of concentration of heart and mind, which help release revelation. For example, think about the difference between a ray of sunlight hitting a piece of paper. The focused energy creates ray so concentrated that the paper burst into flames. When you have a hunger to master a new understanding and discipline, that hungry and searching heart will cause you to see things you would not normally see (Matthew 5:6)
- 8) Accept the word or instruction or insight, Obey and Say Thank you, Lord, for what You have shown me, make a commitment to obey: Retain status quo
Realizing that the revelation came from indwelling Holy Spirit, give all the glory to God for what has been revealed ( Eph 3:21). Blessed are those hear the word and observe to do it Luke 11:28 . Accept the revelation God is speaking to you and repent of any sin that is opposite of it. Repentance is two-fold. While it involves experiencing godly sorrow over our sin, it also transforms the way we think the Holy Spirit is inviting us to adjust the way we think ad ultimately the way we live- To come into alignment with His revelation. Speak it forth and then act on it! Meditation in its all about producing a lifestyle where we start living out the word of God.
In conclusion, God commands us to reason together with Him (Isaiah 1:18). This involves the flow of His Spirit within us, guiding our thoughts. Vision is a key element in this process, as seen in Isaiah 1:18. God goes straight to pictures after He says, “ Let us reason.” He continues, “Though your sins be as scarlet, I will make them white as snow.” That is a reasoning with pictures. That is biblical reasoning with pictures. Verses become Rhema as a result of biblical meditation.
Pray, “I choose biblical meditation over western study from this point on in my life. Father, by Your grace I will use biblical meditation when I come to the bible and to every other book or area I explore, because I want divine revelation, not man’s reasoning. Holy Spirit, please remind me whenever I slip back into mere study. Thank You.”
You have now activated the secret place anointing (Holy Spirit) in your life to persevere and persist in the secret place. As you call into the secret place (Psalm 91:1), follow these processes or other processes that the Holy Spirit instructs you to follow as long as you engage in the Holy of Holies. Don’t follow rigid rules, God can burst your well thought out program. Allow Him as we move from logic, structure and processes to spontaneity in Jesus name. Jesus broke all the order, processes and protocols as he always followed the leading of the Holy Spirit so must we!
Experience all round-success this week and beyond as You are led by your closest friend – The Holy Spirit!
Remember, we are one in Christ Jesus – Only in unity we can have lasting and far reaching impact – Engage!
